Porchettoni Food Truck

During our first visit to Rome, one of the joys of Roman food was porchetta. The porky crunchy goodness was so epically good. I think we must have eaten it every day. Try as we might we found nowhere in the US that had anything close to what we experienced there until now. Straight from Rome and this pork is just incredible, there is nothing like it out there anywhere. We are so blessed to have this authentic Roman delicacy made by a Roman just as you get in Rome. Don't miss this truck. I hope he moves up to brick and mortar someday but regardless I pray that this venture is successful. You have to try this pork. I would give Porchettoni 6 stars if I could. I will be back again and again and again. Don't miss it. Stop by for a sample. It's just so good.

We drove four hours (there and back) just to try their food and it was amazing. The moist pork, with the crispy skin, literally melted in your mouth with the perfect crunch. We WILL make that drive again, hands down the best food we've had in a LONG TIME. Amazing service, and they were so kind, such great people. Thank you guys, it was all worth it ? my husband had the porchetta sandwich, while I had the Cacio e pepe with Porchetta.

Both the porchetta and chicken parm sandwiches were delicious from the meat to high quality cheese and bread!

I love this place ... the food is always perfect. Too many people don't actually understand porchetta, but as far as I'm concerned, it is amazing and I am so excited that I don't have to go to San Francisco to get real porchetta any more!For those of you out there who are curious, it's pork roast wrapped with pork belly and with crispy pork skin on the outside with lots of seasoning. It's a little fatty, a little crispy and really good!Went again last night and we got both the platter as well as pasta ala vodka. OMG ... made to order pasta that was incredible.The owners of the truck are really nice and while the owner is fluent in English, his wife is not ... but they are always warm and welcoming to everybody. My only regrets are that the truck isn't always open when I want it (LOL!) and it's not "fast food". Then again, fast food isn't always good food and this is good food.

I've given this place a few tries since they're usually parked right around the corner from where I live but I've always been disappointed. Last time I had a pork sandwich which was like 60% fat, I asked for no broccoli or eggplant, it came out with broccoli and eggplant ??‍♂️ I also ordered mozzarella sticks, $9 for 5 SMALL mozzarella sticks, no sauce or nothing.Also what makes it even worse is the girl taking the orders, she's rude and seems like don't care or doesn't want to be there ??‍♂️ I'm not coming back ?

Do yourself a favor and just go. This is obnoxiously delicious and deserves your attention. You aren’t finding anything like this outside of Rome; what a rare and special thing to have here in our town.

We hired them for our Annual Party and they were awesome. Great communication, showed up early, and the food was terrific! I can't wait to go downtown on my own and try some of their other delicious food selections. We would definitely use them again. Thanks again for making our party great!

Went based on the reviews.Had ponchetti one other time before. That time, it was a 1/2" cut from the roll. If you had lechon (roasted pig) or roasted pork belly, before, porchetta is similar.Was given a thin slice of porchetta sitting by window to sample. was very moist and tasty. Yum. Was not given the skin to sample, or any part of the stuffing.Ordered a porchetta platter. It came with slices of porchetta. Porchetta on platter was dry, and some skin pieces were rock hard thus inedible. There was no flavor from the stuffing.. The fries were not crispy. Did not finish platter. .realized now that porchetta on platter may not be porchetta sampled. The 2 tables were situated away from the trucks so there was barely any light, and we were busy talking.3 stars are for the other dish that was ordered. It was decent for the price.

Hands down, my favorite food truck in St. Pete! The pork is absolutely delicious, tender with a crispy skin, and the fries are well-seasoned. The service is friendly too...I highly recommend it!

My FAVORITE food truck in all of St. Pete. The owner Alessandro truly cooks with passion and you can taste it in every bite. If you're a cacio e pepe lover like I am this will BLOW YOU AWAY. Every bite leaves me wanting more. My fiancé and I have eaten from here around 4 times now and it just keeps getting better. The sandwiches, the pastas, the porchetta, all of it. Simply to die for. You won't regret it!

Excellent food!!! Totally hit the spot after rounds of drinks! Honestly I just had better quality pasta from here than some Italian dine-in places. Highly recommended!!!
