During our first visit to Rome, one of the joys of Roman food was porchetta. The porky crunchy goodness was so epically good. I think we must have eaten it every day. Try as we might we found nowhere in the US that had anything close to what we experienced there until now. Straight from Rome and this pork is just incredible, there is nothing like it out there anywhere. We are so blessed to have this authentic Roman delicacy made by a Roman just as you get in Rome. We drove four hours (there and back) just to try their food and it was amazing. The moist pork, with the crispy skin, literally melted in your mouth with the perfect crunch. We WILL make that drive again, hands down the best food we've had in a LONG TIME. Amazing service, and they were so kind, such great people. Thank you guys, it was all worth it ? my husband had the porchetta sandwich, while I had the Cacio e pepe with Porchetta.

I love this place ... the food is always perfect. Too many people don't actually understand porchetta, but as far as I'm concerned, it is amazing and I am so excited that I don't have to go to San Francisco to get real porchetta any more!For those of you out there who are curious, it's pork roast wrapped with pork belly and with crispy pork skin on the outside with lots of seasoning.
