Miami outpost of a New York institution in Coconut Grove. This place is off the charts great for all-day dining. It offers a variety of great dishes, but a must try is the soft scramble eggs with caviar (if you like caviar, of course!) The bagel tower and smoked salmon is an absolute classic and truly delicious. The triple decker sandwiches are great for sharing. This place is a swing and a miss for me. We came in for brunch and waiting for three painstaking hours while our food and drinks took forever. Not to mention the food was fair for the most part. The place is beautiful though. Lots of potential but not a ton of follow through.
This is a very expensive place. You go there for the atmosphere. The food is presented beautifully. The flavors are good, though not great.
If you want to pay up for an experience, this is the place. Otherwise it is way over priced.
