I stopped by here this morning and the customer service was horrible. Felt completely ignored. I was standing in front of the cashier and the cashier Seid decided to not even acknowledge me but have a whole conversation about personal things with the customer next to me . The cashier female next to him was assisting the customer well. however I was standing there being completely ignored. Not a good feeling. I had to ask to be assisted standing right in front of him.

I’ve never experienced being pressured to place an order within 10 minutes of arriving at a Starbucks, until today. As a graduate student, I visit this location at least three times a week and always make a purchase. Sometimes I don’t order immediately because I’m not hungry or thirsty yet, but I always end up buying something, either because I’m there long enough to want something or simply because I understand that this is a business, not a public space.
What really surprised me was being approached and told that I had to order something. That has never happened to me at any other Starbucks. At other locations, staff sometimes may even offer free samples to introduce new menu items, which I always appreciate and usually end up buying. The difference in attitude and service is very noticeable.
On another occasion at this same location, I asked for a glass of water while waiting for a mobile order I had already placed. The barista told me I had to be a paying customer to get anything. She didn’t notice that I was literally holding the bag of food I had just picked up. I held it up and asked, “Do you mean like this?” She then responded with a quick, “Oh, sorry,” but the interaction still felt dismissive.
After these repeated experiences, I honestly don’t feel comfortable coming back to this location, even though it’s the most convenient one for me. I hope this feedback helps bring some awareness and leads to better service moving forward.

It was horrible I’m never coming again, they didn’t ask me what size I wanted my drink, they gave me a small when I wanted a venti, and I asked for a “summer-berry refresher” and they barely gave me any boba!, I’m never coming again!

I come here all the time, the last 3/4x I’ve been coming, I’ve been getting bad service, from my order being completely wrong, my order getting skipped left alone to get a “Regular” customers order like I don’t have no where to be, and I didn’t just pay just like everybody elseI’m waiting this review in my car outside of Starbucks, pissed. I order the same drink same size, the boy steady trying to be funny and got everything wrong. 😑

I stopped here for a coffee while waiting for my Airbnb to be ready for check-in. The staff was very friendly and the coffee was fresh and tasted great. I plan on returning while I'm vacationing in El Portal.
