I'm writing as a former employee and my overall experience (Or lack thereof). I applied to work for a few Subways around the city in the website. When I got hired by this one I went on Google to do a bit of research and noticed this is one of the lowest rated Subways in town. That was red flag #1. So first day on the job I'm optimistic and right off the bat I didn't really receive enough training as I thought I would and as a result impacted my performance. Through trial and error I slowly learned the proper technique of Sandwich Making, but never fully mastered it. If this Subway had more customers I don't know how I would've performed. I performed better when my supervisor wasn't at the counter with me and some of my other co-workers as she made me feel under pressure. At the end of the first day I wasn't physically exhausted but was psychologically drained. 2nd day of work comes along and I see both the managers are there (man and woman). I felt more comfortable with the man as he gave constructive feedback and more patient than the madam as she expected big time production from a rookie. I had probably my only good memory there that day as the man said he would give me the sub of the day free of charge as he says he does that with all his new workers. Thhe woman manager then tells me to hurry up and get back in the counter. She was kind of moody as most of the time she was stressed as it was a rare occurrence to catch her relieved or in a good mood. That would be the only time I would see the male manager in any of my next shifts as our schedules did not coincide. I had 2 more shifts at this place and before you know it that day there was not one but two disputes with customers as she was very stingy with how much portions of toppings we served per sandwich. I don't know if this is regular for Subway but almost every day I worked here at least one customer had something to say about the portions. At the end of my next shift the woman supervisor/manager had enough of me and grew weary of my performance (as I said earlier she was very impatient). At my last ring-up I had messed up somewhere in the sandwich and she laid me off on the spot. Now I don't know if that was her tipping point or if she planned on firing me at the end of the day anyway. All in all I end up working there for less than a week. Before I walk out I obtain my final check and notice I only got $55 in total for five shifts when I worked there about 4-6 hours each day. If my embarrassment of being let go didn't overshadow my unsatisfaction with the pay I would have spoken up. A few weeks go by and I notice a familiar number calling me so I answer it, it was her again offering me a second try here. She said I should be more ready and mature now than before, (that let me know she thought I was immature) I already had other jobs on the table that I felt were more stable than here but I went and tried again anyway. I dropped by here twice to pull some strings but both times we couldn't come up with an agreement, both visits it took a long time for her to attend to me and I notice how in both of my visits not once did I see any of my old coworkers. That right there showed me the turnover rate here is still very high. In the end I worked elsewhere. In conclusion, a lot of people are saying the store is never clean but I disagree on that because whenever there are no customers usually the employees are cleaning out the entire store and the managers are big on following health and safety guidelines. As for the female supervisor/manager I think she is misunderstood by a lot of customers and recieves a bit of unfair treatment as she takes pride in owning the place very much and wants nothing but the best for this store. I thank the co-managers for my short stint here and wish them the best.
Smallest tomatoes EVER!!! rude staff and and the food was not fresh
THIS IS THE WORST SUBWAY EVER!!! These people DON'T KNOW a thing about Customer Service. There was a time when Subway had a sandwich called "Subway Melt", but they don't have it anymore. The thing is that every time I go to ANY other Subway, I ask for the "Subway Melt", and they ALWAYS make it for me and charge me with the "Subway MLT", because the MLT also have THREE (3) meats, same as the old "Subway Melt". These people just say, "We're going to charge you double, because it is additional meat". I explain to them that the ONLY thing they have to do is to REPLACE one meat for the other one, meaning, I AM NOT taking ANY ADDITIONAL meat, but trading one for another, and that it is what every Subway restaurant does for me. Well... They told me to go to these OTHER Subways... THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!! 😡
Pity service, seemingly bathroom out of order or denied, old vegetables on the sandwich
Bathroom was out of order. They didn't have the BBQ special that was advertised. They weren't sold out, they just don't sell it, even though it's advertised. Employee was friendly, but this place is poorly managed.
Subway genuinely good, but the location in Brickell is very disturbing. There is a stench from old water, as you come in and of course, please wait for the flies to say hello. I think that subway is privately owned and the owner does not know how to maintain the establishment.
Very slow. Mgmt should read these comments. It's not the employees fault, give the employees the product, materials, and help they need. Very poorly run location.
The service is somewhat slow, and I'm not sure if is just me, but they seemed to get annoyed when customers order in Spanish, even though all of them are Hispanic as well and they speak and understand Spanish very well.
Staff is rude and unfriendly. On peak hour (lunch) they just have wheat bread, they don't have the special of the day, as many of the ingredients.
Slow, out of various breads and ingredients, ignored customers, 3 different soda flavors were out, not enough staff (2 total), & the manager was rude her worker was polite.

Tuna with grilled toast
Two thumbs up for this place. Looking forward to coming back with my coworkers. Feeling here is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I liked.
Service is awesome even when they are busy. The service was very sociable and kind. Bring your hunger - portions are generous. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.
AVOID THIS PLACE....that rude indian woman manager was rude to one of her employees that day and also wouldnt shut up giving me "advises" on how to build my sandwich which by the way the bread was hard, im surprised its on Brickell
I walked in the store and the way I greeted us with a mean glare by the girl working on April 2 2019. I made a joke of it and she's saying she's I'm the one being rude. Didn't get anything left the store. When they taking your order it's like they hate doing it for you.
