Worst service ever. The staff is careless and doesn’t care much about make me feel welcomed. They try to avoid you instead of be kind and provide a good service. Sunday around 3 pm was my experience. I do not recommend dine in, order to go instead.

The tuna poke nachos were so good! Unfortunately, everything else my girlfriend and I got was very disappointing. We both got bento boxes and also a JB tempura roll. Neither of us were satisfied with any element of either of our meals. It was as if someone that never actually had Japanese food is making everything. Genuinely subpar food. I would choose one of the other 100 sushi places around here

I've been eating at sushi Maki for at least 20 years. I typically don't have a problem but this Grove location is going downhill. I always order the same thing and when I got there to the counter the girl said that they no longer had that. I ended up paying $43 for what should have cost me 18. Also the bathrooms were out of soap and paper towels.

When you order per app, it's a different table number as if you order from the tablet at the entrance, that asks you for your table number. The soft drink didn't taste well, no ice available.Asking for a tip, but not proving any service is ridiculous.Printing out a receipt is not working at all, as there is no printer. This whole setup is absolutely customer unfriendly.

Cheers to the crew here ensuring guest satisfaction. My delivery order was on-time and tasty, but not quite complete. I called to mention the missing items and Patricia and her team did a wonderful job addressing my issue. Mistakes happen and this team came through to fix it. I’m happy they’re close to my house and looking forward to ordering again soon.

Front desk people can't even explain if a dish is vegetarian or not. I literally asked if the miso soup has any meat or fish as it's usually vegetarian but just wanted to ensure. The girl at the counter could barely process my q and after 10 mins back/forth, I had to ask her to go ask the chef. She checked with her supervisor and still didn't have a yes/no answer. The issues that I see with the service people in Miami are non-existent in rest of the America. I just wish service folks here were just skilled more and informed.

Came in for a quick lunch. For someone who eats sushi almost daily, I just needed my fix haha but this place actually gave me a different flavor to enjoy with the "usual" and even with a twist. Everything's taste was extra for me this time. The sushi tacos are definitely for the raw fish lovers! Also, their fried rice... wow! It had been a while since I had fried rice and I'm glad I welcomed it back at this restaurant. Overall, great location to stop for sushi. Their lunch specials are really reasonable. And the food and service were on point!

I order from this location since they are open at least 4 times per month. Their sushi is always fresh and it is always a good option also for their riceless sushi.

Really cool "by the bay" location next to Monty's and the marina here with a bright, modern, contemporary decor feel. Parking CAN be difficult, but I lucked out. Food was tasty and a great value considering the taste, portion size, and presentation, but service took a while for a pseudo fast food typa place especially considering it wasn't busy. My Gyoza was cold. I'd still recommend you check it out.

This place has been a regular stop everytime we visit the area. Their sushi is definitely one of the best I've had overall. The place is neat and spacious. The food doesn't take long and they are very specific to your preferences. Overall, excellent place to dine in.

This Sushi Maki is located in a fabulous spot in Coconut Grove next to Monty's on the bay. Usually when I come here, I sit outside under one of their umbrellas and it's a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food is hit or miss when it comes to the raw fish. The last time I came I had the tuna poke bowl (with raw tuna) and it was great, but other times I've ordered sashimi or nigiri, the fish has not tasted fresh. At this location you order at the counter so it's not the typical served experience of the other Sushi Makis I've been to in Coral Gables and South Miami, but all the staff has been helpful and friendly in my experience here. Overall it's a pleasant casual dining experience, but think twice about ordering sashimi or nigiri.

The wait time for a Sunday afternoon was great and minimal. I ordered several dishes at a wide variety between sushi and Poké bowls. You must try the passionfruit bubble tea!!!
