1 Star – Never Again
This was hands down one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had. The sushi maki on my platter was bland, poorly rolled, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours—nothing fresh about it. The miso soup? Absolutely inedible. It genuinely tasted like warm dishwater with a few soggy tofu chunks floating in it. The seaweed salad was close to being lukewarm.
To top it off, the service was just as disappointing. My server, Yunisleisi, seemed completely uninterested in being there—barely took my order for takeout, and was checking her compact while taking my order just plain wrong, and never once asked how things were. It felt like I were a bother just for showing up.
Save your money and go anywhere else. This place was a complete letdown.
No flavor. No employee discount.
No thanks
A welcome place to rest and enjoy food served well. The staff were wonderful people.
The sushi was amazing, waitress was great and the prices were really good for an airport. I fly through Miami all the time, so this will be my new spot.
Food was delicious! I highly recommend!
Great whole food salad, miso soup, and edamame are all available. Service is good with the limited vegan options it still is a good stop if you're on American Airlines in terminal D.
didn’t see many vegan options on the menu besides miso soup and edamame, almost everything seemed to contain egg, but the waiter was very nice and when asked said they could make a veggie roll - wasn’t the best sushi, a little plain/dry, and the tea was kind of powdery, but not bad for 7am at the airport Updated from previous review on 2025-03-23
I don’t usually leave one star reviews but this was an appalling meal. We are vegan and saw this place had several veggie friendly dishes. They even said they could add tofu. We ordered the blazing noodles and fried rice. The food was bland and overcooked to the point of being soft. Blazing noodles sounds like it would be spicy; these had no flavor. The noodles and rice tasted the same. There were pieces of meat in my noodles. I can usually power through eating blah meals but I couldn’t do more than three bites. We paid and left. The waiters showed no interest in why our food was untouched. I mentioned the meat in the noodles just so the kitchen could be aware and he shrugged. $32 to leave hungry. Pretty bad experience.
Sushi is so good and fresh! Joshua's service is top notch! Highly recommend!
We got 1 of each of the 3 vegan sushi rolls
