Pleasantly surprised. In my experience, the restaurants in this terminal, are not good. And the customer service isn’t much better. Chick-fil-A isn’t too far, it’s in Terminal E. However today, i took a chance.

At first, there was no acknowledgement by the 2 hosts. I stood there. Nothing. No one in front of me. Just me. So I grabbed the menu myself, reviewed it. Tried to make eye contact with them. Nothing. So i left. Then i read the reviews, as I was walking. And some of the reviews on the food were good. So i said, what the heck came back later. This time a young girl was the host. She smiled, i said one and she sat me down right away.

I ordered the teriyaki chicken with an egg and a bottle of water. Bit pricey, $42 included 18% gratuity and then I added a little more tip for a total of $47. However, it’s the best meal I’ve had here in this terminal in the last 10 years. Hopefully it wasn’t just a one time thing and that the service and taste remain consistent. Server and wait staff were excellent.

Probably my fault. because I was at the airport and ordered a Thai dish, but the pad thai was awful.

The service was great and fast though.

We enjoyed a layover brunch here. Service was so nice and efficient. The food was solid, we enjoyed our sushi and the breakfast egg bacon guac sourdough toast. Will return.

This place used to be great value for the money. Now you get barely any food for the money. The gentleman that helped me was nice enough to recommend the breakfast sandwich which generally includes a meat and cheese on a bun. He asked what kind of cheese I would like and I told him. The price of the sandwich was originally $12.50 but when it rang up, it came was over $15! So I asked him why so much and he told me the cheese is an added $1.75 charge. I had them take it off and the sandwich was still $13.50. I know Miami international is a ridiculously expensive airport for people passing through but overall that’s ridiculous anywhere for a little sandwich. Definitely avoid this place move onto something else. Maybe you’ll actually get some food for $13.50. Oh.. remember to grab some napkins and utensils since they don’t but any in the bag.

I was really impressed with this place. Biggest standout was our server, Sieuw, who was so nice and helpful. He helped my wife understand the gluten-free options on the menu, brought her tamari, kept our waters filled, and was generally very friendly and attentive. The second standout was the quantity of food, as shown. Finally, I was pleased there were lots of tables. Sit down was in and out in about 45 minutes. This will be my go-to if I’m back in MIA.

Some of the best sashimi we’ve had. Pro tip, ask for a side of the ginger dressing to finish with the garnish from the sashimi platter.

I asked for pad Thai with tofu to be made vegan, they said even the sauce is REAL OYSTER sauce, they can’t make it with soy sauce! Not vegan, sorry! Updated from previous review on 2026-03-25
