When I first moved to the area me and the husband went searching for a new Chinese place. After 3-4 places we found this one and haven’t gone to another since. The great people inside and the fresh food make this place the best by far!

I am deeply disappointed to write this review because I have been going to this restaurant since I was about 10 years old. I used to ride my bike there to order food, and at one time, I even worked there as a waitress and answered the phones. For many years, I considered it some of the best Chinese food in Miami.

Two years ago, I placed an order that the owner personally delivered. We had a wonderful conversation and reminisced about the old days. Unfortunately, when I ate the food, the rice had a strong burnt taste. It seemed as though rice had been prepared in a pot with burnt residue at the bottom. I called and complained, but after that experience, I did not order from the restaurant again for two years.

Today, July 11, I decided to give them another chance. Sadly, I regretted it. The rice still had the same extremely burnt taste, and the fried chicken had a strange chemical-like taste that made it inedible. The entire meal was a disaster, and I spent approximately $100 on food that my family and I could not enjoy.

I called to explain what happened because, after raising the same concern two years ago, I genuinely expected the food quality to have improved. As a business owner myself, I understand that problems can happen. However, when a longtime customer reports a repeated problem, the responsible thing to do is listen, investigate, and make the situation right.

This review is not based on one disappointing meal. It is based on the same serious quality issue occurring twice, two years apart. It is especially painful because of the history and childhood memories I have with this restaurant. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will never order food from here again.

The service was bad. The food take long to be delivered and when we asked for a little bit of hurry the girl responded with attitude and without any apologies. Not recommended

This place is fantastic, like a 90’s time capsule. Exactly what you remember when you were a kid going to Chinese restaurant with your parents. It’s giving backrooms vibes, but the food is SO FREAKING GOOD. everything is made fresh, hot and great. The staff were friendly, it’s quiet, I mean everything you could possibly love about a Chinese restaurant. This is the spot.

I ordered to go and the special fried rice had not meat at all. Had a smoked taste. This place is usually a good one. But lately is been a disappointment.
