The Licking is a go-to spot with perfect drinks and delicious food seasoned perfectly. Easy to locate with friendly staff, the turkey wings, grits, and collard greens are quick and tasty. Despite a mix-up with the sides, the Snapper and Shrimp Dinners were mediocre. The Mystery Drink was not as fruity as expected. The chilly restaurant led to car dining. Although not impressed with the food, the music was enjoyable. This black-owned restaurant is worth a try for consistent great food.
