We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try vegan Haitian food, especially when served in an awesome funky herb shop. The Vegan Marie is a charming family-run business serving up super tasty food. During our visit, they were serving the spelt wrap filled with various vegetables and legumes. It had tons of flavor and seemed low in oil, which we hugely appreciated. The wrap came with a great dressing that it hardly needed, since the wrap already had so much flavor. It was accompanied by a side salad that was fresh and had a really tasty spicy sweet dressing. We were also offered a taste of the soursop juice which was tart and tasty.

The Vegan Marie is a all vegan Hatian restaurant in the Little Hati neighborhood of Miami. Very friendly owner who let me sample two different kinds of juice made in house. This family run restaurant has been around for four years as of March 2025.
I love supporting all vegan restaurants whenever possible. This was my first time experiencing Hatian food.
I went with the Spelt wrap that was tasty and served in ample portions.
It came with a flavorful sauce.
It came with a healthy and tasty kale salad.
5 stars for the food yet am deducting one star because when dining out I like to dine in and unfortunately there was limited seating with the only seating being outside the restaurant with two chairs encompassing a small table therefore took my meal back to my guesthouse to enjoy it there.
Pro tip: Get your food to go and am sure you will enjoy this unique cuisine!

Vegan Marie is a lovely complex store, serving amazing Haitian food in a casual atmosphere. But this only starts the story. The store has several small shops with in it. There are exotic foods, which i had not seen in other stores, the equivalent of pop up shops selling jewelry and stylish sunglasses and new offerings under construction.
It has more the feel of a welcoming living room than a commercial establishment. There are several couches, including ones configured in unusual ways. There is ample parking beside the building and great hospitality within.
Definitely worth the stop.

Interesting store in the midst of renovations. They are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the food and the soursop ginger drink, which was refreshing and tasty.
Best food! Best drinks! & also there having a donation there giving out rice and tea!! love, LOVE them definitely a must try!

I love their sandwiches and wraps ! Truly plant based meals made from scratch. For those into herbs, holistic remedies, and plant based groceries they also have all of that in their shop. They gained a new customer !!
