So first time visiting Aventura and was looking for a place to have breakfast closer to where we're going, regardless of some negative reviews I still wanted to come in and I have to say I'm glad we did, the cortadito was delicious and the breakfast sandwiches were really good, not toasted but the bread was warm like it had just come out of the oven, I added cheese to my egg and ham sandwich on Cuban bread and my wife had it without cheese, it all came out rather quickly, no complaints on the food or the service whatsoever. Definitely recommend!

This is not the first time I’ve experienced poor service here. The bakery uses a number system, but they only call numbers in Spanish. Because I don’t speak Spanish, I did not realize when my number was called and was skipped over while people who arrived after me were served. When I pointed it out, the staff offered no apology, no explanation, and no effort to make it right.

It is unacceptable and inconsiderate to ignore customers in this way. Not everyone who visits speaks Spanish, and it’s very simple to call numbers in both Spanish and English. Until they correct this, customers who don’t speak Spanish should expect to be overlooked and treated as if their business doesn’t matter

Please stop adding so much beef into your pastalito da carna. You had it so perfect with a little portion of beef within the pastry. It was absolutely delicious. Now I feel like I’m eating a beef sandwich.

You have to check your order when you get it. I just got home and my order was incomplete. Make sure you check it before you leave the restaurant.

I’ve been coming here on a weekly basis because it’s near my job and one of the few Cuban bakeries in this area. However, it has progressively been getting worse and worse. I mostly always order a toast and cafe con leche online for quick pickup. The toast I received today was not even toast. It was cold bread and cold butter that wasn’t even bothered to be warmed up. I guess they think since it’s an online order, it’s not important and the customer won’t notice the disrespect until they are gone. After coming one a weekly basis for 3 years, this tostada was so terrible and a disgrace to the Cuban community, I will never return back.

Also, when you’re at the pickup window, the ladies at the counter straight up ignore you while they’re chatting amongst themselves and on their cellphones. Que Pena!

0 I went to the bakery to get a dessert to go with my lunch. I went to unconventional route and I got a slice of that rum cake. When I took a bite of the rum cake. It was AWESOME. It was very moist, the room was not overpowering and the cream was not too sweet everything was balanced just right.

I made a catering order for a company event for AUG 14- 7AM a week before paid and all. Got a reminder day before order was ready for 7 AM When I got there & Am Aug 14- the order was not ready and the nice attendant had to pull and pack. The worst is I got the pastelitos from most likely the day before (left overs) the pastries were hard, (could tell by the meat and the cheese) not fresh at all. I had recommended we get this bakery, I was embarrassed and disappointed to give this to the attendants of this meeting. WOW CAO que embarque!!
