“The food is very good but is does not carry the quality of the sister buisness next door, which is just fantastic. It isn't bad by any means but I expected more, perhaps that is my expectation. We love coming here when they have live music, as it is always fantastic. If you happen to catch the father-daughters act, you won't be disappointed.“

“I travel quite a bit and Ale House is one of my go to stops. I have never taken the time to write a survey, but while traveling thru Gainesville I stopped at Ale House at the end of a long day. I was in the bar lacing a beverage and a quick bite and met the most delightful young lady who works for you! Ella was fantastic! She made my day. Great service and great conversation! “Great beer-only bar. And when they say beer only they mean it. Not even food is served. But the nice atmosphere and good conversation I had with the owner Jimmy made up for it. “This is the second time we tried this place. We ate at the bar due to the (40 minute wait time). If you are into "sports" any sport this is the place to hang out. They have over 25 TVs with every conceivable sporting event or game you can think of on a TV. It was a Friday night and my fiancé and I went there after a movie (A Star is Born - a must see). So at 6:30 they said it would be a forty minute wait. I put my name on the list and we went to the bar. We decided to eat there since it was a nice cool night. It was open and airy with a large bar and booths. Several were open so I am not sure why the wait time was so long. We had three bar tenders checking on us. All were nice and on the ball. They had a large selection of craft beers and a full bar. I got the Samuel Adams Seasonal (Octoberfest). My fiancé got the 14 Hands Merlot. For dinner I got the Zinger Salad with grilled instead of Fried Chicken tenders. Trying to be somewhat health. It was good except there was a BIG hunk of lettuce core smack in the middle. I just picked it out and moved on... My fiancé got the Filet Mignon. It was cooked to order and had great flavor. It came with a baked potato that could have been fresher. The Caesar salad was fresh and with just the right amount of dressing. This was better then out first time there in which we had several waiter and kitchen issues. So I am curious if those have been addressed. We will be back to try the inside table service again.“

“It was a great experience. I had not been there in a long time. I met my niece kind of by circumstance they’re from out of town the waitress was awesome the food was very very well prepared the value was good as well appreciate the authenticity of the original recipes“

“I did enjoy the atmosphere and I really felt like the team was trying their best. It seemed like they were very overwhelmed and it was clear... the host was really kind but a little all over the place. Our table had trash under it when he brought us there and awkwardly stopped seating us to clean it. I loved the effort and it definitely made the experience more human, but not fine dining by any means. Our server was one of the bartenders, and I LOVED his drink reccomendation. Our apps were good, but when the main meals came out my salad was very wrong... I also ordered a vegan burger and it was okay. They replaced the salad but still got it wrong ?. We might come back, but it was an ok experience for the $80 bill we received. Not really worth it in my eyes, we could have gone to Red Robin and recieved an overall better bang for our buck. Keep striving for better! There's potential for sure.Vegetarian options: I got the veggie burger made "vegan style", the patty was a little try and had the consistency of spam. Not really the texture I'm looking for when it comes to a burger dupe. I've had better at home.“
