Evidently, before I picked up the cake, a couple of customers wanted to buy it. I understand why: the cake looked elegant as well as mouthwatering. When I served the cake, we took pictures of it, I cut it, and we each had a piece. Indeed, we all had a moment of indulgent silence when we tasted the carrot cake, then no one could stop talking about every aspect of it.
