“One of the best places in the United States for high end cakes and cup cakes and cookies. Johnny and her husband produce some of the finest and tastiest cakes and cupcakes we have every had. They don't rival -- they beat -- the best places I have been to in Miami, Chicago , Orlando, etc. These are places I have lived in, and I've eaten some great desserts elsewhere, but Something Sweet has been the best. You don't win Cup Cake Wars unless you are the best. They are the nicest, warmest (small-town-feeling) couple with the best desserts around. There is no product at Disney that can come close to the products that they produce. Give them a try- you won't be disappointed. But come early, they tend to sell out early.“
“I ordered “carrot cake” cupcakes from Candy’s Cookies, Cakes & More (Canaveral Groves)this week for my husband’s birthday, and we picked them up today. They were made fresh this morning, and oh my goodness, if you’re having any doubts about placing an order, please, make the order. Her carrot cake was the best I’ve ever tasted. Every bit of it was made from scratch - the cake was moist and delicious and the frosting was fantastic. I’ve already placed another order for a German Chocolate cake and a Lemon Blueberry pound cake, and I’m anxious to taste them. With regard to Candy, the awesome baker - she’s kind, genuine, and has “customer service” running through her veins. I’ve never had a baker offer to meet me at a convenient place for product pickup, much less offer to deliver. She did both, and we agreed on a place to meet. I felt like I met a friend today. I wish her and her business all the best success.“

“Ossorio-Cocoa Village-4-Stars "Juuuuuuuuuuuust a bit outside." -- Harry Doyle Glancing down at my random place to stuff your gullet device, I noticed the name Ossorio Bakery & Cafe staring back at me. Looking forward to the peaceful drive up the coast, I hopped in the BBDO mobile and pointed her north. Cruising into Cocoa Village with Brenda Lee "coming on strong", I languidly turned into their parking lot and came to a complete stop. Looking this way and that, I couldn't spy a parking space in sight. Waiting patiently for a space to open up, I couldn't help but get a wee bit aggravated and think to myself what a mess this was. Pulling into a vacant spot I could only hope it was not an indication of what awaited me inside. Regardless, I reset my patience and with a silent, "Once more into the breach, dear friends", trod inside. Taking the Cafe part in their name to heart, you won't find a service professional awaiting inside to take your order, it is all self serve, including boxing any leftovers. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, just stating the facts, Ma'am. Reading the menu I picked up I was overwhelmed by the depth and diversity it offered, but as I continued to read it more closely, I noticed it was well thought out. Now, if they can execute at a high level, this could definitely be a 5 Star meal! I placed an order for a fire roasted sammich, Buddy's Beef to be exact, and a side salad that went by the moniker of Kendall's Fresh Salad. After placing the order, I went in search of an open table. Noticing that you can sit inside or outside, finding a place to ease my frame into wasn't all that difficult. I also noticed that they have an array of fresh, made by hand pastries, a wood fire brick oven for pizzas and a whole bevy of drink selections. All of the tables were patio style and reminiscent of Parc in Philadelphia (if you haven't read that review, that was a 5 Star joint). While Parc is pure, unadulterated French, Ossorio's is clearly new American. Being notified that my order was up, I brought my mind back from the City of Brotherly Love and proceeded to the counter to retrieve my items. As I sat back down with my order, I couldn't help but note how appetizing it all looked as well as smelled. Digging into Buddy's Beef sandwich, I was first taken in by the freshly made baguette. What a delicious hunk of bread this was. With a crunchy crust and a springy, moist interior, it was everything a homemade baguette should be and more. If there was any knock on the sammich at all it had to be the quality of the beef. It wasn't low grade, to say the least, but it certainly didn't taste nor chew like USDA Prime either. The Provolone was miles above the quality you find in chain sub shops and was obviously sliced on site. Turning my cutlery towards Kendall's salad next, I dug my fork in and moved it around a bit. The salad was a simple spring mix, nothing earth-shattering, but a standard play on a common salad. The greens were indeed fresh, the almonds still warm from being toasted. the apples were nice and tart as Granny Smith's are known to be and the blue cheese crumbles were the real deal. The balsamic dressing drizzled over the top of the whole shebang was nice and tart, again, nothing spectacular, but well above average. My experience was just that, my experience. I found the staff friendly, the interior pleasant, the parking a nightmare and the food just this side of receiving a 5 Star review. The execution was adequate, though the quality of beef could see just a smidgen of improvement. I rather enjoyed the self-service aspect of the place, though I do also enjoy the human interaction that comes with table service. The savings in overhead must be reflected in the price and that is something in today's world with which we all can live. The Big Boy says, "for above average grub, friendly staff and an eclectic menu and vibe, make a point to stop in at Ossorio's Bakery & Cafe.&qu“
“The smell of cinnamon is my favorite! The buns are delicious, as usual, very sweet and also have sweet custard cream on top, sooooo sweet, but delicious! They were eaten quickly and I didn’t even have time to take a photo, which was very surprising!“

“My friend was visiting from North Carolina. I'm so glad we tried Keep It Local Brevard Wine Bar and Eatery. The food and service were great! The weather's was great, so we ate in the shady court yard outside. We loved the atmosphere here! I will definitely be back! The mango sangria was so good!“

“I had been trying to get to this place since they opened! Well I finally did and I cannot rave over it enough! My daughter and I drove over from Orlando and while it was past their closing time the owners didn’t bat an eye and welcomed us in! My daughter had the best scone she’s ever had just while we were trying to decide what to get! There are so many amazing options and they rotate so you’ll always find something new and different. The original sourdough was amazing, we ate the whole loaf in 2 days! We also tried the focaccia. It was massive in size, baked to perfection and the flavors… OMG! Cheese, olives, roasted peppers and onions, it was delicious! Besides the totally amazing food and cute shop the owners.. the owners are the coolest! Super joyful, kind, and they have a genuine love for what they do and the people they serve. 🥰🫶🏻❤️“

“Oh my goodness! The blueberry cheesecake is probably the BEST cheesecake I’ve ever had. She said it was made from scratch. What a difference compared to the stuff made commercially. My hubby had the Key Lime Cheese Cake and thought it was really good. We’ll be stopping in whenever we’re back to Cocoa Beach.
Parking: Easy free parking street parking.“
“Merri Cakes has such the cutest little cupcakes! They come in regular or mini sizes. The cake and frosting is very rich and delicious, so the mini cupcakes would be perfect for family or friendly events and catering. I have never had a bad experience from Merri Cakes with their cupcakes. One of the best red velvet cupcakes I’ve had :)“

“I love that the staff made me pick my table. I was alone and I was worried she’d sit me in crowded tables with lots of customers. I like to go out but hate to be too close to others. The quantity of food is surprising! I love the croissant and my Americano Espresso the most! I am only visiting and my very first time in FL.“

“Absolutely amazing! Service was incredible. We had never had crab before and owner was kind enough to let us try some before ordering it and showed us how to eat it! Kids shared the crab platter and there was nothing left. Brisket was amazing as well! Hands down the best dinner I've had on Port Canaveral so far! Cupcakes and desserts, best German chocolate cupcake! If we are ever this way again, I'll be sure we stop here for dinner again!“

“Had heard about French Delights Bakery. We were in the area and wanted to try it. Spoke with the lady at the counter, and she said the owner bakes everything herself. Said the owner is from Nice, France. We sampled several different items. I honestly don't remember what my wife had. We shared a butter croissant and a chocolate, caramel hazel nut bar. We both agreed they were pretty awesome. The croissant was flaky and cripsy on the outside and soft and chewy inside. I had a lemon meringue tart. It was spectacular. My only disappointment was that they only make macaroons on weekends. I love good macaroons. That was what I really wanted to try. That was the reason for a 4 star rating instead of 5. For everything we got to sample, the taste was 5 outta 5. This is definitely a place we would go to again. I just have got to remember to go on weekends. If you are in Cocoa Village, you have got to stop by for some delicious French Delights.“
