So glad I found a Lindy's. Use to go all the time back home before many closed down. The only place I can find chicken livers! Happy people behind the counter, and plenty of parking for an RV or big rig.

Placed a call to order . A woman answered the phone and proceeded to take my order . I was hung up on after placing order and asking for the total . Figured it was an accident , called back several times no answer. Went to Lindy's to pick up what I ordered only to be told , with an attitude by a man , that noone told him about the order and he wasn't going to make it unless I called it in ..... I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Placed a call in. The lady with the twists took my call. She stated it would be 10-15 mins. I sat there waiting over 25 minutes. Asked where my food was. She talking about oh the cook must have forgot. Meanwhile she’s playing on her phone. Doesn’t write any orders down from call ins. In don’t know where the guy & lady that are normally there were. But I will not be going back. The girl behind the counter was rude & loud when I complained about my time being wasted waiting on food called in 35 minutes earlier. She just cost that place a regular customer.

The chicken is out of this world! I love both the chicken breast box and the Tenders box they have the best mashed potatoes and Gravy. The Gravy is chicken gravy yummy. You can't get better than Lindy's! We use to have 5 locations but after COVID we only have 1 or maybe 2 lol. It's a must try in this area!
Parking: The parking lot is small it's shared with a liquor store there is a drive thru also but across from the parking lot is a grass spot you can park on but I have never needed to , there's always room to park!

I ordered a pint of livers, cooked "light and soft" and a breast to go from lindy's at Midway today and when I got home, I found that both items were so friggin' overcooed that they were burnt!!! It all tasted horrible unless you like eating charcoal briquettes!!! It's so disturbing that no one can get any good food anymore, whether they dine in or get it to go!!? Sadly, no one gives a damn!!! Lindy's will never be on my restaurant to go list ever again!!! How pathetic our work force has become!!! If you hate your job souch, hey the hell out of there and find something else to do!!!

Lindy's Chicken, a spot that used to be my favorite in Tallahassee. While I miss their Orange Ave location dearly, my experience at the Midway location was somewhat positive. Despite the delicious taste of the chicken, I found myself frustrated by the excessive wait times and the underwhelming portion sizes. The chicken wings resembled quail legs in size, and my side of fried okra consisted of only 6-8 pieces, which left much to be desired. However, amidst these disappointments, I must commend the young man working the counter. Despite being overwhelmed, he remained patient and provided impeccable customer service, which significantly improved my overall impression of the visit. While Lindy's Chicken may have room for improvement in terms of wait times and portion sizes, the exceptional customer service demonstrated by their staff is undoubtedly noteworthy.

Drove 12 hours and arrived just before closing. Drive thru only as they were about to close. Food very good and service top notch. Recommend sides too.
