“Lindy's Chicken, a spot that used to be my favorite in Tallahassee. While I miss their Orange Ave location dearly, my experience at the Midway location was somewhat positive. Despite the delicious taste of the chicken, I found myself frustrated by the excessive wait times and the underwhelming portion sizes. The chicken wings resembled quail legs in size, and my side of fried okra consisted of only 6-8 pieces, which left much to be desired. However, amidst these disappointments, I must commend the young man working the counter. Despite being overwhelmed, he remained patient and provided impeccable customer service, which significantly improved my overall impression of the visit. While Lindy's Chicken may have room for improvement in terms of wait times and portion sizes, the exceptional customer service demonstrated by their staff is undoubtedly noteworthy.”

“This Cinnabon is in a Flying J gas station which is perfect for easy access while traveling. Yes, it is in a gas station, so don’t expect this to be a nice stand alone Cinnabon. However, the cinnamon rolls served behind the counter are hot and fresh (and cost about 50 cents more than the cold prepackaged ones). A pack of 4 large cinnamon rolls is about $12.”

“This waffle house was across the street from a pilot gas station. It made it easy to get gas and then grab some before getting back in the road. Total stop time with getting gas and eating was about 37 mins. Service was great, and the cook was on point.”

“LEGIT Authentic Mexican food! Unbelievably good! The quesabirria is the best I've ever had, the carnitas are fantastic, the beans and rice are on point and it's very reasonably priced. Every single thing we've tried has been *absolutely excellent*. We just moved here from Colorado and it has been very difficult to find great Mexican food in Tallahassee that lives up to our high standards, but people, let me tell you: THIS IS THE PLACE.”

“Do not be intimidated by the decor they are just spending time making some of the best tacos I've had in my life.I ordered three tacos a pastor, a asada, and a lengua. They come on homemade corn tortilla that's tender and sturdy with onions, cilantro and lime.All meats we tender and well seasoned, I didn't even add sauce to the asada.The lengua was prepared very well none of the chewyness and strong flavor you sometimes associate with mediocre lengua.Pastor was rich and fell apart in my mouth. Greasy yes but not unpleasantly so.Pricing is really good for the amount of meat and the great taste.Taco sauce was also good the red was the spicy one and the verde was super refreshingHorchata is on the sweet side but the flavor is amazing, it makes a good dessert drink.I would 100% come again if I was in the area!”

“I have been working all week in Havana and when I passed by the store on Monday, the owner stopped to chat for a bit. Gave me a bit of the backstop and invited me back when the shop was open and man am I glad I took him up on that!The staff was nothing less than cheerful and greeting with smiles from ear to ear. The shop was clean and had a wonderful esthetic.I got a small cheese pizza and you can tell just by the look that they use quality ingredients. This was confirmed with the first bite. The sauce was robust but not overpowering in any way. The fresh Mozzarella the owner was telling me about complimented it just right. The inside of the crust was light and airy with a nively bubbled crusty bottom.I can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu! Thanks for the best lunch I've had all week!!”

Although the place is run down and old and doesn’t look that good the food is really nice and filling. Prices are pretty good as well. The people were really sweet and had huge smiles on their faces. “Harry's never disappoints! My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and went for lunch. We decided to try Harry's when we first relocated to Florida around five years ago. It is still one of our top restaurants in the area. The food is delicious, (my husband had the Andouille crusted grouper and I had shrimp and grits) and the service is always top notch. Our server Marissa was very attentive and suggested my husband try the grouper, and he really enjoyed it. Thank you again Harry's, for making a special occasion even more memorable!”
