“First time here, got a soup and a salad. Everything in the salad was good and fresh and the soup tasted good to me. Employees all seemed super nice and friendly. Atmosphere is low key and casual, like a bigger subway. I'll definitely be back!“

“Pizza@ Titus Landing, 2510 S. Washington Avenue, Suite 110, Titusville, Florida 3-Stars (Chain Rating) There are not many restaurant ideas that excite me. However, this tiny pizza joint--a relatively new fast-casual franchise that originated in mid-Florida in 2014—is pretty cool. If I had small children, I might come here regularly if I lived in Titusville. Jeffery Jew, the Florida Executive Chef for this and the St. Petersburg and Lake Eola Pizza@ locations, is a former Top Chef contestant who created signature pizzas unique to each one. For example, Pizza@ Tyrone Square in St. Petersburg has a “Beach Drive” pizza. As the Titusville location is across from Kennedy Space Center, it is not shocking to find on its menu a “Rocket Man” pizza, although I went with the also not surprising for our area, “I Dream of Bacon”-named pizza, a bacon cheeseburger-style pizza that goes by “Bacon Double Cheeseburger” on the Lake Eola menu. By whatever name, the crust of this pizza was whimsical and tasty, the cheese was almost ample, and the ingredients were vigorous and delightful. In addition to clever personal sized pizzas with a choice of crust (regular, thick, or rice or cauliflower for the gluten intolerant); and choice of cheese (@Blend, ricotta, mozzarella, cheddar, or vegan); this location offers some decent salads, some “Not-Pizza” menu items, and beer and wine for the grownups. I can’t fail to mention Kaitlyn, who took our order and did an outstanding job. So, if I enjoyed my Pizza@ experience so much, why did I only give it a lukewarm 3-Star rating? It is because in comparing Pizza@ to similar pizza concepts in this category—such as Blaze or Mister01—Pizza@ is not at the top of its class. However, its prices are fair and reasonable, the food prep is quick, and the ingredients are marginally fresh. I apologize to my fans for not being more of the smart-mouthed rascally jackanapes you have come to expect from the Big Boy in this review. But for what it is worth, I liked this little pizza franchise well enough. Maybe Pizza@ does not have the best pizza in Florida, but it's offerings are good enough, and would probably do well in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area. The Big Boy says, “Take the kids or grandkids to Pizza@ Titus Landing for some decent za and a little fun.”“

“Village Inn-Titusville, FL- 4 Stars "O-oh, back on the chain gang (ho-ah)..." - The Pretenders As you might be able to tell from the opening quote if not the name of the restaurant to be reviewed in this post, I am back in chain restaurant mode. Hey, I know it's not for all of us, but enough of us so that it needs to be done. This time my random place generator spewed forth Village Inn located in Titusville, FL. They have establishments in 18 states (including Alaska) with the majority of them in Colorado, I guess stoners like their food? Well, with that many eateries in that many states, they must be doing something right. Pulling into the sparsely filled parking lot, I have to admit, some doubt crept in, but I pushed it aside and entered. The place was clean, friendly, and exuded a homey welcome. As I was taking my seat, Rebecca, the waitress took my drink order. Now that is prompt service! She then proceeded to cheerfully and professionally answer all my questions and then took my order of one Ultimate Skillet, a Short Stack of Pancakes and a Reuben with a side of steamed broccoli. The Ultimate Skillet contained frozen, not fresh hash browns, ham and veggies. However, for a chain restaurant, I am impressed with the execution as it was pulled off flawlessly with perfectly cooked eggs. The flapjacks were a scrunch overcooked, but oh so buttery and milky on the palate. What can I say about The Reuben? It looked great but was not all that good. I think it might be an ingredient issue as it certainly was not an execution issue. Maybe it was the end of the meat or maybe not as high grade as I am used to, regardless, it was not tasty in the least. The side of broccoli, on the other hand, was fresh, crisp and delightfully prepared. The Big Boy says, "For a flawlessly executed meal in a family-friendly environment and budget, this Village Inn will do ya just fine!" #bigboy #bigboydiningout #iamthebigboy“

“Today was my first visit (with a friend who frequents it), and I was impressed with variety of choices and extensive menu. Pork tacos are a do-again for me. The French fries are excellent. Portions are generous. I’ll be back!“

“I never had this place before, my parents where talking all about it the food the first time they had it. I finally got to try it and oh my gosh. The Rodeo burger, the fries, the onion rings, the wings, even the fried pickles where so good! I never really liked pickles but this place makes them just right! I'm definitely coming back here when I have money!“
