“Great food and stunning views. Table service, at least inside, would've been nice. Interior seems to be in the midst of being redone (server said they had a flood last year so it's probably from that). The food is great but for the price it'd be nice if it wasn't served on disposable plates. Definitely a hidden gem and they seem to be planning on building more stuff at this cute little fish camp style hideaway.Kid-friendliness: A jungle gym beside the outdoor bar gives kids a good place to burn off some extra energy.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is dirt but there are two ADA spots near the front of the boardwalk.”
“The waitress's are the best and the pool tables are great. And the don't have a drug problem like ODP. And there aren't any midget cocaine dealers at the filling ”
“Anytime, I get my cheese steak or seafood from there it's absolutely delicious. I wish it was just a little less expensive so I could go more . I don't know anyone that has not gotten great food from there.”
“The selections here are great, we come here every winter, and the food is amazing!! Have never been disappointed with Hungry Howies!! Had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub. It was the BOMB!!! Just wish there was one in Iowa!!!”
“The subway is great they have the same workers that's been working there for many years and it's always enjoyable and great conversations every time I pull up and want to get a 6-inch or a foot long.”
“I am 76 years old, not getting any younger, and have to now watch what I eat. I don"t eat sugary pastries and two much caffeine keeps my blood pressure too high. But Dunkin' always has the low sugar "old fashion donuts" and good tasting decaf coffee (black), although I sometimes buy caffinated. In other coffee shops I find the decalf coffee (black) usually tastes bitter and requires lots of artery-clogging cream to cut the bitterness! Starbucks regular coffee is a lot more bitter than DD coffee! This DD is connected to a gas station but the DD is quaint with some tables and chairs and large picture windows to look out of. A very relaxing no rush atmosphere. The staff are pleasant to talk to an will ask how my day is going. I like the no-rush friendly atmosphere!”
“The nicest Mcdonald's I've ever been to! There is one employee that really stands out is Nira. Her bright smile and pleasant attitude lit up the room. The restaurant is super clean and is very inviting. Congratulations to the crew for an amazing job!”
“Fabulous burgers. We happened upon BurgerRobs last weekend. Within a few minutes we met the owner. very nice guy, thanked his staff for the restaurants success. place was crowded yet they were able to move the line efficiently. We live in Viera but will certainly be back!”
“My first time here. super friendly greeting when we walked in. V was our waitress she was awesome, she took the time and explained the menu to us and checked back the whole time to make sure everything was great. The food was great. Everything came out nice and hot, the portions where super size. We will be back. I highly recommend this place.”
“The Heroes Grill, 1300 South St., Titusville, FL 32780 4 Stars It seems that my random name generator has led me to yet another greasy spoon restaurant catering to the first responder and veteran community. I have nothing against them, as I was once a first responder myself. However, like everyone else, they deserve good food, which has yet to be found in such establishments (though that's about to change, but I digress). If I didn't review restaurants, I would never go to a place that prioritizes one segment of the population over another. Most of these places shamelessly try to wrap themselves in patriotism, making non-"patriots" feel ashamed. It gives off the same vibe as any hollow act of virtue signaling. The owner, Leshawn, works at the front counter. She is an exceptionally charming lady with excellent customer service skills. She deals with her patrons impeccably and is a true "people person." I asked Lovely Leshawn for a Cheesesteak with jalapenos and a Gyro burger. At this point, a toothless Titusvillian attempted to correct my proper pronunciation of Gyro (in Greek, the "G" is silent, so the word is pronounced as Yee-rrrrrro, with a rolled "r"), using the incorrect pronunciation of Gyro (as hero), and then proceeded to mock me for it. Leshawn, with the calmness of the eye of a hurricane, informed the misguided octogenarian that I did pronounce it correctly. Vindication is a beautiful feeling. Hey, I've been divorced a few times; it's not often that a woman admits I'm right. Anyway, the Cheesesteak with jalapenos was outstanding. The bread was soft, the meat was tasty and seasoned with a decoction that instantly transported my taste buds to the City of Brotherly Love. The jalapenos added just enough kick to remind me that this was not your average Cheesesteak. Finding such flavorful and authentic food this far down the Eastern Seaboard was a delightful surprise. As delightful as the Cheesesteak was on the palate, the Gyro burger fell completely and utterly flat. It was enjoyable, but lacked seasoning. The bun was soft and fresh, and the tomato and lettuce were fine. The meat was perfectly cooked, although it lacked the distinct Gyro flavor. It could have been the tzatziki sauce that was lacking, but I'm not sure. Regardless, the Big Boy says, "This place is well worth a try. The food is well-prepared and enjoyable."”
“Tried a coffee here for the first time recently and it was great. Staff was nice and everything looked clean. They have a couple of different flavors/drinks they make and the first one I tried made me want to come back and try a different flavor. They have a lil punch card where you can get a drink free after so many drinks. Cute lil place, would be nice to stop in to have a coffee date with friends.”
“After living in Titusville for three years and saying to my husband “we have to try the Downtown Diner” for that long. We finally did! It was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere of an old time diner was fantastic. Coral, our server was kind, patient and full of knowledge about the menu and the history of the diner. I can’t believe that we waited so long to go. We are already planning a day to try the lunch menu because the breakfasts that we had were so good. I had the eggs Bennie and my husband had the pancakes with eggs and sausage links. We split the small order of biscuits and gravy. Delicious”
“we have been frequent customers of flavors of india in cocoa beach since it opened, when we found out the same owner had opened Indian Sizzler in Titusville we had to try it, this restaurant us beautiful bigger, a little fancier and everything about it is perfect...food is delicious, staff is attentive and well trained and the place is beautifully decorated and invites you to have a relaxing, enjoyble dining experience, we give it 5 stars! congrats to the owner”
“Tree of Life Cuban Bakery, 1200 Malabar Rd. SE suite #2, Palm Bay, FL 32909 4 Stars Glancing down at my random name generator, I poured myself another cup of coffee. I was going to need it today as I was about to head OTB for a second visit to Tree of Life Cuban Bakery in Palm Bay. Having been there before, I brought my niece along as she is fluent in Spanish and will be able to help bridge the language gap. Janice is our service professional today, and she is on point, pleasant, and skilled in her job performance. Using my niece as a translator, I put in an order for one Midnight Breakfast Sandwich, one Cuban Sandwich, and an order of flan. While waiting for our order, I snapped a shot of Janice working her tail off and have to comment on the décor. The whole place gives off such a jovial atmosphere, and it has to be due to the employees, paint, and artwork hanging about. Well done! If one would, at this point, take a peek at the accompanying pictures, one will see that the Midnight Breakfast Sandwich is the prototypical grill-pressed "Panini" style, albeit on made-in-the-back freshly baked Cuban bread. One bite was all it took to know that this was a magnificent concoction of the American breakfast staples: egg, ham, cheese, and meat candy (bacon). The bread was grilled to perfection, toasty on the outside, slightly sweet, warm, and delicious on the inside. My discerning taste buds found this to be incredibly enjoyable. Now on to the Cuban Sandwich. As I mentioned before, this is my second trip here and my second go-around trying their Cuban. Once again, my palate is introduced to the best Cuban Sandwich this side of Yeehaw Junction. The meats are so incredibly delicious I would even hazard to guess that they make their own Cantimpalo sausage in the back as well. The flavor is exemplary! Now onto the flan. Flan is an ancient dessert going back to the days of the Roman Empire. At that point, it was just one type of dessert. Today, depending on where you live, it can have a few different meanings. In America, we associate flan with what is actually crème caramel. Flan is a dime a dozen in these parts, and I regretfully have to say that the flan at Tree of Life Cuban Bakery is not worth a dime. I found it to be rather bland on the palate. It didn't taste bad, just not much at all. A lot of Caribbean countries include coconut, condensed and evaporated milk, as well as a bit of nuts or fruit. This just needs a jolt of flavor, and it will be fine. However, as it is….. The Big Boy says, "Go get a sandwich, any sandwich, especially the Cuban, but skip the flan."”
“We had a great breakfast there! The breakfast platter is just the right amount of food, cooked to order, with several choices for each of the components. Everything was cooked perfectly! Also very friendly staff! We will definitely be repeat customers!”
“We had a great dinner experience here tonight! Fun and unique place. The food was amazing, good atmosphere, and Mac our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks Mac! We will be back!”
“I ordered the Cuban plate with pork. The pork was succulent and tender. It was delicious, along with black beans and rice, and macaroni salad. Their food is extraordinary.”
“Some of the best barbecue I have had and I can tell they are driven by faith! Quality of food and service is nothing shy of fantastic. Brisket was patiently smoked and the sides were unbelievably tasty, I had the sweet potato casserole and Mac and cheese. Highly recommend this ”
“I Go to Kim's every morning for my daughter's and I don't need to say anything to the 2 beautiful young ladies because they already have my order memorized, This is the best doughnut place in Titusville ❤️❤️❤️let me say it again for those who didn't read it properly... THE BEST...”
“Great place to start a date night off. Wonderful menu and they do flights of beers to sample 10 stars ? . Also I'm here to give you a free video roof inspection when you're all done . Try the roast beef sliders. ?”
“The Cafe Paradiso Bistro & Social Club 337 S. Washington Ave., Titusville, FL 32796 3.5 Stars In the downtown area of the bristling metropolis known as Titusville, FL sits a rather ambitious little joint with a name reminiscent of an old Fonda/Stewart movie and a classic Italian coming-of-age flick, The Cafe Paradiso Bistro & Social Club. The first thing I noticed upon entry was the eclectic décor. It's almost too busy, but it's not. I found it to be bright, cheerful and inviting. Steven is the waiter for the meal. Steven was charming, congenial and professional. He seemed to be slightly hearing impaired, noticing that I adjusted my speech volume, and Steven answered all of my questions regarding the menu. In regards to the menu, I found it to be pioneering in it's flavor combinations, however, there was a lot of crossover. Executive Chef Elisandrya De Sade Way (Chef Gypsy) is one to watch. She is extremely creative in her desire to bring the Space Coast unique, yet well-known meals. I asked for a cup of their Jambalaya, some Haitian Beef Griot and a glass of Tropical Hibiscus unsweetened tea. Kicking back and enjoyin' the digs, I snapped a few pics of the interior and eagerly awaited Steven's return. Before too long (I do time this), Steven was seen bringing forth my fare. The warm aroma of the Jambalaya preceded him and had my mouth watering in anticipation. Taking the requisite pictures of the food, I got to work. First up was the cup of Jambalaya. For those not in the know, Jambalaya is an American Creole and Cajun rice dish of Provencal French, African and Spanish influence. Done right, it is savory, spicy and scrumptious. A truly wonderful belly-warming dish. Chef Gypsy's take on this Louisiana staple included seasoned chicken, spicy Andouille sausage and savory vegetables. However, the all-important rice was a bit on the overcooked side. I chalked this up to sitting in a steamer/warmer. The flavor did not suffer due to this, but it did detract from the overall enjoyment of the Jambalaya. Moving on, I found the Haitian Beef Griot to be the opposite. In this case, the rice was slightly undercooked. This makes one ask, was the rice cooker on the fritz, or did someone become distracted for a minute in the kitchen? The chunks of sirloin were tender and perfectly seasoned and the accompanying Haitian Pikliz (slaw) and Caribbean black beans were outstanding and had my taste-buds breaking into an Affranchi. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the incredible flavor of the Hibiscus tea. This was a true delight on the palate and perfect for washing down a few forkfuls of the slaw. I have to say, if the rice in each dish had been prepared and served to the standard of the Pikliz, this would have been a solid 4.5 stars. However, as it is, the Big Boy says, “3.5 stars is still a good first date or family outing. Oh, and keep your eye on Chef Gypsy. I expect things to get better and more ambitious!””
“Mamma Rosa's Pizzeria Restaurant 381 Cheney Hwy., Titusville, FL 32780 4 Stars My loyal followers know there is nothing I dislike more than pedestrian Italian food. Not only is the food unpleasant, but the owners are, oftentimes, the most combative and have threatened my life span more than any others. So, when Mamma Rosa's Pizzeria Restaurant popped up on my random name generator, it was with slight trepidation that I set forth. When I walked into this quaint, clean eatery, I first observed the owner, Steven. Steven is about as far from a mesomorph as the Big Boy. Grabbing a table I was soon approached by a gentleman who went by the moniker of Myles. Myles was fantastic in every way a server can be and took my order for some Fettuccine Alfredo, Sausage Parmigiana and one Meat Lovers Pizza. While waiting for Myles to return with my grub, I took a few pictures of the place (minimalism was on full display) and relaxed in the welcoming, family atmosphere. Before too long, Myles brought forth my feast, snapping a few pictures of the order (look at that food!), I proceeded to dig in. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the appetizing aromas assaulting my olfactory nerve. Everything certainly looked and smelled far above the plebeian fodder that passes for Italian food in most clip joints dotting the Space Coast. The first to dance tastefully across my taste buds was the Italian dish from a restaurant in Rome that conquered the world, Fettuccine Alfredo. The perfectly cooked Fettuccine was slathered in some of the creamiest, cheesiest Alfredo sauce that has yet to slide down my gullet. It had the perfect amount of garlic and nice woodsy notes from the cheese. Magnifico! As hard as it was to turn my attention to the Sausage Parmigiana, I forced myself to move on as I was here for a job, not to eat myself into an Alfredo-induced coma. I have to draw your attention to the photos at this point. I mean, just look at that Sausage Parmigiana! As with anything served on a bread base, it all begins with the foundation. I don't know if Mamma Rosa's bakes their bread on-site, but it sure tasted like it. The bun was warm with a crispy exterior and a fluffy, chewy interior. The sausage bedded on top was on par with the bread as this link of meat was to die for. It was sweet, savory, complex in flavor and cooked to perfection. The sauce was tasty and had just enough herbs to compliment the sausage without overpowering it. The parm was fresh, gooey and slightly nutty as all aged parmigiana is. This stuff wasn't top shelf, but it was far removed from the bottom rung of cheap food service cheese product and was obviously the real deal. This brings me to the final item today, the Meat Lover's Pizza. Again, starting at the bottom and working my way up, I found the crust to be delightful. It was your traditional crust, meaning not a deep dish, not stuffed and not thin and crispy. The crust was extremely flavorful, light, and airy and had just the perfect amount of crunch before the give. The toppings were supreme. The sausage was obviously hand-cut and out-of-this-world delicious. The rest of the meats were of the same caliber. This was a top-of-the-line pizza. The Big Boy says, “Finally an Italian restaurant with great owners and great food.””
“My 4 year old granddaughter & 74 year old mother enjoyed the food and people & the service was amazing even though they were very busy they took the time needed with all of the customers ?”
“After visiting the Kennedy Space Center, we decided to have dinner at Dixie's with a party of 6. Not only were they able to accommodate us quickly, the staff was friendly and the food was fantastic! Darcia was a great waitress!”
“Seated, ordered & served in a very timely manner. Waitress was amazing. The food ordered was perfect. Very clean, large variety of food to choose from. All around a perfect visit.”
“I visit my mother several times a year in Titusville. I was excited to see a local coffee shop that roasts and brews. The shop is fun and welcoming. The staff was delightful. My cold brew bees knees was delicious.”
“This is a wonderful restaurant. We are from the Midwest and do not make it to Florida often, but while in town we wanted fresh seafood and came across Pier 220. Food was fantastic, plentiful, and reasonably priced. View was gorgeous at the pier, and service could not have been better. Food came quick, correct, and our waitress (Veronica) was extremely friendly, engaging, and helpful. 10/5. Will come back next time I am in Florida!”
“We tried out the new location today. The tacos had good flavor and were packed full of meat and veggies. The rice and beans were average, and probably not something I would order again. The torta was just as packed with ingredients and flavor.”
“Shrimp, crabcake, hangar steak, and salmon were all fantastic. Way above expectations. Pricey but worth it. Excellent service. We are locals and highly recommend this nice restaurant.”
“We stopped to grab some ice cream about 7 pm. There were 3 people working, and they were all working their butts off. The ice cream sundae my wife had was delicious, she especially liked the texture of the ice cream. My chocolate milk shake was perfect and the prices are very good!”
