As an Italian family we’d always be excited to come to Fat Clamenza’s when in the area and enjoy the delicious food. This year was disappointing. Immediately upon my first bite I knew something was off. The meatballs seemed to be of the same texture as a frozen meatball from the grocery store and no flavor. Where’s the herbs? Garlic? My gnocchi swam in sauce instead of being tossed and coated in sauce. I ate what I could but left the meatballs. The gnocchi didn’t have a bad flavor but were slightly overcooked. Service was OK. Friendly waitress. Waters were not refilled. Oh and Mama Clamenza’s is now closed?? Noo! Get your old chef and ingredients back please. This place was a gem.

We have been to this area several times and we’re looking for something different. We went to this establishment. My son loves Italian food. The food was pretty good. Pizzas are a bit expensive, and they are nothing special necessarily. The Parmesan crusted grouper was excellent. The calzone was huge and made two meals. My son had seafood linguine. He said it was enjoyable, but basically he just loves food. For six people, the bill was about $200. I did not think it was anything special, and my daughter says that I am just bougie now. Maybe she’s right. It definitely has an Italian kitchen atmosphere. If you like loud atmospheres, this one is for you. The tables are cramped, and it’s probably time to move out of the mini mall into a proper restaurant setting. Overall, not incredibly impressed, but the food was pretty good.
Excellent food and atmosphere, but the service was meh. Our server just seemed like she was annoyed the entire time. We would definitely go back though. The pizza was fantastic. The crust had a nice chew and great flavor. The special was grouper with butternut risotto. It was HUGE!

Restaurant has expanded into space next door, so it didn't feel as crowded. Menu was similar to our previous visit, however one of my favorite entrees was no longer offered (cannelloni). I chose the tortellini and it didn't disappoint. My husband chose the chicken piccata, which he has ordered previously. The portion was smaller and the price increased.

We love this place traditional Italian but also have amazing wood fired pizza. Love the charm we visit every time we are in the area. Owners are amazing and always stop by to ask how your meal was.

I will say the food was wonderful. We decided to place a large take out order (over $300.00 worth of food). I called to place the order due to an allergy for one meal. The gluten free pasta and pizza were VERY good! We just came back from Italy and the pizza rivaled some there. The food is not inexpensive, but I have never minded paying for good quality. We had three other pizzas and a chicken park and the garlic knots.
You are probably wondering why I gave them 3 stars -
WELL..upon arrival to pick up the order, they charged 15% for a pick up order!!!!! 15%! On a large order, you can do the math and quickly realize how much money that is! The part that made this such an issue is this was NOT disclosed when the order was placed! Had we known this, we would likely have chosen to dine in and be served! Sure, we tip more than 15%, but 15% to pick up food is INSANE! And it felt very sneaky to not let someone know this charge!!
This was super disappointing. It really tainted the opinion of the restaurant by all in our party. I would love to go back, as my pizza was that good, however I'm not sure anyone else in our party will patronize again because of the non-disclosure of this fee.
A couple extra bucks to cover the to-go containers I've seen, but nothing to this magnitude.

This was our second time here and we just love it so much! Our waiter, Cody, was amazing and the food was even better. The atmosphere of the restaurant is just so inviting and we can’t recommend it enough! See you next year! ❤️
