“I can't say enough great things about Commelfo. From the first time I went there a few years ago with friends I was enamored with the food, cocktails and atmosphere. They have not disappointed since! I live 5 minutes away and it has become my local go to for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch and Dinner. There is nothing there I have had that isn't delicious. Their private wine dinners and parties are amazing... from the Mob Party to the Retro Party! I am already planning my costume for this year's retro party on 10/27/24... can't wait! The staff there is wonderful!”

“We have been to Bijoux over the last few years and each time has been truly amazing! The food has never disappointed and the service is wonderful (we really like Lisa as our server). The wine selection is not huge but does have very nice options for any occasion. Great appetizers (Crab Beignets are a favorite) and their Filet Mignon is the best we have found in South Walton. Last evening my wife and I split the 20oz Cowboy Ribeye (med. rare +) and it was so good! They also make their own desserts and we usually get the Cheesecake (last night’s was Orange Marscapone) and a couple of scoops of sorbet(so good!). Can’t wait to go back again.”

We began our culinary journey with a dozen oysters on the half shell, which were incredibly fresh and served with a tangy cocktail sauce. Pat's suggestion to try the chargrilled oysters was a game-changer; they were rich and flavorful, topped with a heavenly garlic butter that had us savoring every bite. For the main course, I opted for the grilled Shrimp Platter. Both dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and traditional recipes. What truly made our experience memorable was the generosity of the manager, Shannon. After noticing how much we were enjoying our meal, he personally came to our table to check in. His genuine care for his guests and passion for the restaurant really shone through, making us feel valued and appreciated. In summary, Acme Oyster House in Seascape is a must-visit destination for seafood lovers. With exceptional service from Pat, the warm hospitality from Shannon, and a menu that celebrates the flavors of the coast, this restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites. Super yummy! I had the chicken dinner, sauce and chicken was really good, so were the cheese grits. My wife had the catch of the day, happened to be Flounder, one of her favorites. The portion that came out was HUGE and she said really yummy, too! Tons of beers on tap and some funny t-shirts for sale too. Great place, may go again tonight!”

“I cannot say enough good things about BBB Inlet Beach. The food is incredible as well as the service . We had never been until our visit over the past week in Sunnyside. We ate BBB every day we were on the beach. Everything on the menu was delicious and made from scratch. Gary waited on us each day and let me tell you, he made the experience top notch. “I rarely write reviews but cannot, in good conscience, walk out of Dude and Meatball’s stuffed to the gills without saying right out loud what a terrific place this is. I had the Italian Mixed Grille and my wife had the TB Mac & Cheese. Our wait was less than ten minutes, the entree’s were plentiful, but most importantly, the quality was, honestly, top tier. And I have to tell Nicki (I hope she sees this) that having run a business my entire life, I am quick to perceive when people are just naturally drawn to making friends in seconds flat. That takes a rare genuineness. We so enjoyed our conversation with you, and I feel compelled to let people know. My only complaint is I have to stop at five stars. Exceptional dining!”

“Well the whole experience was great, high energy and fun. The food quality was a little lacking. Shrimp in the shrimp and grits was not fully cooked. Iced tea was very watered down. “We are visiting the Miramar Beach/Destin area for the first time, and came across Dunes Rolled Ice Cream when searching for ice cream. All I can say is “Wow”! This is delicious— made from scratch, rolled ice cream, with just cream and added ingredients. It is so fresh and delicious, and appropriately priced for a made-to-order, locally owned shop— the owner was literally rolling ice cream for us! (I have had the cherry blitz twice— so good!!) They have lots of other items, including scooped ice cream, boba, and even breakfast sandwiches. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!”

The coffee is good. The croissants with egg, cheese and bacon are great to take out and sit in the deck and watch the dolphins frolic.

The line to order is long. The line to await your order to be prepared is long. But crowded means it must be good…or the only game in town…in the property for fancy coffee and a “quick” bite.

Despite the gripes, I’ve been dozens of times and will return.”

I used to be a regular before the remodel and when the old management owned the store, simply because I love sushi, and let me tell you…it was never a pleasant experience…between the workers, attitudes, waits, etc. Today was my first time back after the remodel and to my surprise, with new management. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Haley, my waitress, had the bubbliest personality and was SO happy to be there. The sushi chefs were phenomenal, friendly, and good at what they do. Tracey, the new manager of the location, took the time to speak with me and was extremely personable and kind. A complete 180 of the service I used to get. I will definitely be back, and 1000000% recommend. If you have ever had a bad experience in the past, for sure go back with the new management. You are in for a treat. “First of all, I had no idea this was a franchise with locations all across the United States. My experience was fantastic, and it definitely wasn’t just luck because my family and I went there twice during our four-day vacation. Every flavor we tried was outstanding! I would absolutely recommend this place to all my friends and family, and I’ll be back every time I visit Miramar.

Now, let’s talk about the place itself. It’s a bit small, and at times the line extends out onto the street. But I can assure you that the wait is absolutely worth it, and the line moves surprisingly fast. Inside, the shop is beautiful, bright, and you can even watch them make the fudge right in front of you. I didn’t get to try it this time, but it’s definitely on my list for my next visit.

The staff was excellent—friendly, helpful, and always had a great attitude.
I also thought the prices were very fair. I saw a review saying it was expensive, but I completely disagree. I paid $25 for four ice creams, and considering the quality of the product, I think that’s a great value.

THE ICE CREAM 😳
First, let me say that I’m a huge ice cream lover and very picky when it comes to judging it. And let me tell you—this is easily one of the best ice creams I’ve had anywhere in the United States. The unique flavors, the incredibly smooth texture, and the amazing balance between citrus and sweet flavors were simply outstanding. I tried eight different flavors, both fruity and sweet, and every single one earned a 10/10 from me.

This place is absolutely worth visiting. I can’t recommend it enough!
