“Had a birthday dinner for my wife here last weekend for a party of about 8 and the service was fantastic and the food delivered! Highly recommend!”
“What an incredible well run team of professionals! From the GM running the show at the door seating people, to every single person working the floor. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious. Chicken Carbonara, Chicken Parm, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Spaghetti Marinara. The garlic knots so good. Family of four with two kids and we loved every bot of the experience! Thank you Mimmos!”
“Where to even start?! This place is absolutely phenomenal. Let’s start with the vibes and the service- amazing. Step into the laid-back vibes of Down Island, and you are greeted by incredibly attentive and friendly waiters. They also have live music on Friday nights. All THREE times my husband and I went (on our five day vacation), we were greeted by the owner, Stefani. She is simply amazing- truly one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Kyle was a wonderful waiter and recommended my husband and I try the Cobia fish (which neither of us had tried before). It was delicious. We also had the oysters (so fresh), brunch (the bayou omelette and the cinnamon roll pancakes are fantastic), blueberry cobbler, and pineapple upside down cake. My mouth is watering just thinking about the desserts. It is evident that the ingredients used are fresh and that their food is truly home-made. I simply cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you, Stefani, for you and your team making our vacation extra extra wonderful.”
“Joe and I celebrated our 10th Valentine’s Day at Renaissance for dinner. It was exquisite in every way. The menu for the evening was outstanding and each course was delicious and prepared with the finest ingredients. Additionally, each plating was a piece of beautiful art work! And as always, the service was excellent and we were attended to as if we were the only guests. Thank you Natasha and Mel for giving us a wonderful Valentine’s Day memory!”
“Chris, Josh, and Caroline were AMAZING! 1st time ever coming and food, drinks, and atmosphere were amazing! Felt like we were old time friends. Felts very welcomed. Chris and Josh were on point with food and drink recommendations. A new favorite and I will be back for sure!”

“Stopped in for a drink and some oysters and found the restaurant quite charming. It was a nice afternoon and there is plenty of shady, covered outdoor as well as lots of indoor seating. Service was a little slow but at least two different servers checked on us.
Staff was friendly and knowledgable. The raw oysters tasted good but were not fresh shucked. I would recommend the grilled oysters they were delicious. Prices were good and overall just the atmosphere is worth a stop at this cool place.
Stopped in for lunch another day and the grouper sandwich was good but the service was, well not as good and it seemed to take way too long for a grouper sandwich. But it was cooked perfectly and delish. Definitely be going back, recommend sitting outside.

“Great spot! Crispy duck was sooo good! Panang curry also delicious. Really friendly staff.”
“Pazzo was recommended by Trish at the front desk of Embassy Suites and BOY are we glad she did. We didn’t make reservations (but should have) and had to sit at the pizza bar but it was perfect. It was warm and toasty on a bitterly cold night. My husband had the chicken parm and his only complaint was that there wasn’t enough chicken. My kid ordered off the adult menu and got ravioli with pesto and marinara and gave it FIVE BOOMS! I am not into pasta so I ordered the mussels and a Caesar salad and both were delicious. I highly recommend this as a spot to hit when in the Destin area.”

“Absolutely wondrous! We have the pleasure of such a unique experience with M&P. Due to a cancellation; we ended up becoming the only 2 for dinner for a birthday. They still hosted us with every bit of professionalism, execution & visible joy for what it is that they do. Every bite of food was not only creative; but illustrated that Chef truly understands texture & balance of flavor. The wine pairings were curated beautifully. The setting itself makes the entire experience seemingly magical! We had a phenomenal time, speak of it often and look forward to another wonderful experience.”

“We stopped here early on a weekday afternoon while on vacation and we're glad we did. Lots of different varieties of beer to choose from, too many in one visit so we ordered a flight and they were all very good. I wish I were a local; if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely come back.”

“Chris, Meagan and the entire Wild Olives team knocked it out the park hosting my son and daughter-in-law’s beach wedding reception. Dining with these guys is like visiting a great friend who lives in another city - - a great friend who knows how took and who keeps a great wine inventory. Ha Ha. Whether it is dinner after a beach day, a group get together or just snacks and cocktails in the bar - - you can’t do better on 30a than Wild Olives.”
“We have been coming to Basmati's for over 20 years! As locals here on 30-A we have not found any other restaurant that compares to them! We usually eat our same favorites Asparagus/Crab soup, House Salad and Firecracker Grouper!!! Owners are always present working alongside their servers to make sure we have the best experience! Last night was husband's birthday and the Chocolate /Oreo Crust dessert with Asian Red vanilla bean ice cream topped it off! Great food, great atmosphere! (My birthday is in a few weeks!)”
“Bud & Alley's is the best waterfront dining in Seaside and likely all of 30A. The breakfast is particularly excellent, and the staff is attentive and kind. They fed our large group and everyone loved it. The Longleaf Writers Conference is a big fan of Bud & Alley's - a supporter of our local educational outreach program for ten years! (The rooftop bar for sunset can't be missed.)”
“BRING BACK THE SEAFOOD ENCHILADAS!!!!!!! We drove 5.5 hrs straight to #Hobag in hopes of having the enchiladas. We were very disappointed to find they were no longer on the menu. The food we did order was good but nothing compares to the enchiladas!!! Bring them BACK !!!!”

“"The Official Beer of the Longleaf Writers Conference" - Grayton Beer Company is a real class organization, with an excellent product. The Beach Blonde is the favorite for our people, but the Rose Goes is also popular. Grayton Beer Company has been supporting our local educational outreach program for years now, and their generosity helps keep our thirsty volunteers lubricated and ready to work!”

“We went to your establishment Monday night just to grab a bite to eat late and the lady that was bartending (can’t remember her name) was absolutely fabulous!!! She went above and beyond her job. She was so friendly and kind and went out of her way for us. On top of the food being wonderful!!! We have family down there so this place will be my go to when we are visiting!! Great food, great service and a beautiful place. Can’t wait until it’s warmer to experience the atmosphere. This place deserves an A++”
“Molly was our server/bartender. She was great! She gave us lots of recommendations of places to go. She was sweet & friendly. 💖 Tell her hi from The Berthas”
“Highlight of our trip! Chef Patrick catered an in home dinner for our family celebrating my parents’ 50th in June 2023 at the house we rented for the week. He worked with me on the menu, accommodating varying adult preferences and making sure our ages 9-15 kids were well fed too. We had so much fun watching him cook and talking that we never actually went to the dining room and instead chose to sit around the kitchen counter. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, and he made sure the kitchen was spotless before he left. Although it was a bit of a splurge, it was worth every penny and we would have Patrick back in a heartbeat!”

“Decent little place, read other reviews before going. Some of the lower star reviews reference, food, containers, tips, etc. I think compared to many of the other places locally, this place is cheaper in comparison. As such, the food will also be a lower quality but is still very good and filling.
Service was fine, I felt no need to tip as they only take your order at the register. You pick it up and clean up. I would go back. However, I would bring my own bottle of water as a soda is $4, and juice is $5. Seems overpriced for drinks.”
“Stopped in while visiting other shops in Seaside. Had a slice of the KeyLimePie, Dipped in Chocolate, on a Stick. Enough for all four of us to get a good taste. It was delicious.
The other items in the counter looks equally tasty. There was gelato and some awesome looking cookies.
Would come back again to try other treats.”
“Great place to get something to eat right in Seaside. They have a variety of things to eat besides pizza (when it's 85 degrees out, we weren't feeling like it) and they have nice drinks and beer. There's a happy hour from 3-5 at least on the weekdays that is pretty good.”
“Had been out of town for a few months and needed our Papa Surf fix. The wings are better than ever. Best I have ever had. Burgers were great. Great service and atmosphere. Jon and team really have the place humming. We will be back for the music.”

“I typically find that a location's Google rating is inflated, but that's definitely not the case for Pickle's, at least from our experience. We visited on a weekday in December, few other people there, and sat at The Sandbar. Calvin, the bartender, took care and time in giving us suggestions and just chatting about life, the area, traveling, and more - he made us feel welcomed and he was genuinely interested in getting to know us. We didn't have any of their drinks, but the food was stellar -- we tried the Smash Burger and Mac Attack Burger, alongside some Sweet Heat Wings -- all at Calvin's suggestion. It was all a winner.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Pickle's and truly can't comprehend a 3.5 rating for this place, when a 4.3-4.5 is certainly more accurate.”
“The best coffee in Seaside! Amavida Coffee have been generous supporters of our local educational outreach program, serving up delicious coffee and amazing pastries each morning for our large group. The croissants are especially good; I ate one every day for a week. The Longleaf Writers Conference loves Amavida Coffee!”
“Cute little Airstream in Seaside where we got a All American grilled cheese. One of the last shops to close down, the service was fine, and the grilled cheese was phenomenal. It took a while to be prepared, but after taking the first bite, I could tell why... They cook that grilled cheese low and slow, getting the exterior of the bread nice and crispy while leaving the inside light and fluffy. The cheese steamed up all gooey. My only regret is not getting a picture of the cheese pull.”
“Gather is located in watercolor inn and has a wonderful atmosphere inside. Dress casual or dress up you’ll fit in! We went two separate times and had great waiters and service. The food was good, but a little on the salty/vinegar side. The blackened mahi fish sandwhich was good and the truffle fries with aioli were our absolute favorite thing there. The Asian inspired bowl was good, but quite salty. The strawberry shortcake dessert left something to be desired; the shortcake was two large dry biscuits (?) with very minimal whip cream and a few strawberries. For the price it was not worth it and better desserts around town. We also got a to-go snack around 8:30 pm one night which consisted of the garlic parm chicken wings and a ceasar wrap with fries- unfortunately these were not good. Perhaps because they were to-go? The wings were dried to a crisp we couldn’t even pull the skin off. The ceasar wrap lacked fresh greens, and the fries were.. just fries.Overall we’d dine in again in the future when we’re back but might try different menu items.”
“The food was really great! We drove 30 minutes to get here (the Thai place near our house didn’t look that appealing and we were really craving Thai). The drive was totally worth it! I got the pad see ew with pork and fried tofu and the crab fried rice. My fiancé order the pad woon sen. We will definitely be eating here again.”
“Our waitress ( Chancey) was exceptional. This was a “ birthday to remember” with excellent service and food. Will definitely be going back.”
“Love there tamales, chicken and pork. My wife really enjoyed her taco salad. Wish I could get more green salsa, bought three tamales and said I could only have 2 small cups. Otherwise we loved there food.
Parking: Plenty of parking”

“Great lil coffee shop with wraps and smoothies. Charming atmosphere. I sat at a table across from the service area and watched them prepare drinks and food. The four staff were like coordinated dancers listening to customer orders and each performing their roles:Barista, flat-top cook, smoothie maker, wrap maker… and then they would shift seamlessly as multiple orders came in. Fun to watch an efficient super-friendly staff. The regular customers were very happy to be there. Had the egg, avocado toasted bagel w a tomato . Very yummy. Thank you.”

“My grandparents went to AJ's Thanksgiving event. They have bragged to me non-stop about their server, the food, and the entire event. There was open handicapped parking right in the front. They sat at the bar and were served by the bartender. They didn't get her name but were thrilled with her friendly, attentive demeanor. The entire event was donation based, and an envelope was provided for privacy. I am so thankful to AJ's for hosting this event and to the staff who generously work the event.
Thank you!!!”
