“We have been coming to Basmati's for over 20 years! As locals here on 30-A we have not found any other restaurant that compares to them! We usually eat our same favorites Asparagus/Crab soup, House Salad and Firecracker Grouper!!! Owners are always present working alongside their servers to make sure we have the best experience! Last night was husband's birthday and the Chocolate /Oreo Crust dessert with Asian Red vanilla bean ice cream topped it off! Great food, great atmosphere! (My birthday is in a few weeks!)”

I love that they have healthy choices and all gluten free. It’s hard to find gluten free cafes and, being celiac, their choices knocked my socks off. Their drip coffee is excellent and their cold brew is excellent. 😘”

“Pazzo was recommended by Trish at the front desk of Embassy Suites and BOY are we glad she did. We didn’t make reservations (but should have) and had to sit at the pizza bar but it was perfect. It was warm and toasty on a bitterly cold night. My husband had the chicken parm and his only complaint was that there wasn’t enough chicken. My kid ordered off the adult menu and got ravioli with pesto and marinara and gave it FIVE BOOMS! I am not into pasta so I ordered the mussels and a Caesar salad and both were delicious. I highly recommend this as a spot to hit when in the Destin area.”

“It was our first time going, and we weren’t sure what to expect, but as we were pulling in the parking lot, a man rolled down his window and told us the food was awesome and to try the pork chops. We tried the simple starter. Bread, oil, and herbs. Simple but flavorful! Highly recommend I had the side summer salad and Krioyo pasta. The salad, no joke, was amazing. Full of color and flavor, might be the best salad I’ve ever eaten. The pasta was a generous serving, creamy and spicy with sausage and shrimp, full of flavor! My husband had the pork chops, cheese grits, and fries (I wish he got the collards instead of the fries, but it *was* his meal, so…). The cheese grits were a delicious surprise to me. So, so, so good. If we go back, I’m definitely ordering them (and the collards). The pork chops were, true to our parking lot critic’s word, awesome. I will definitely return. The atmosphere was laid back and wonderful, the food delicious, and the team members were fantastic. 10 out of 10 recommend! I’ve included pictures in the comments, because I love real life pics of food!”

“Bud & Alley's is the best waterfront dining in Seaside and likely all of 30A. The breakfast is particularly excellent, and the staff is attentive and kind. They fed our large group and everyone loved it. The Longleaf Writers Conference is a big fan of Bud & Alley's - a supporter of our local educational outreach program for ten years! (The rooftop bar for sunset can't be missed.)”

“The sandwiches were pretty alright. They needed to be melted more, with all the cheese they add, but overall was pretty alright. One thing I would suggest is that they change their wrapping paper they are currently using because all that paper stuck to the bread and spent almost 10 minutes trying to peel it off. I drove a while to try this place to try the grilled cheese but don’t like to eat my food with paper on it. 🥴”

“We went here last night 6.19.25 & Paris was our waitress and she went above and beyond. This place was packed from the moment it opened, we were her first night table of 12& she instantly had a bigger table of 15 and she handled both with grace and the most professionalism! We will 100% be back because of the food and Paris! Also, the food was so amazing. Great portion sizes! Outside there is a pool full of alligators that you can look at while you wait!”

“The mac/cheese is the place best secret. It's amazing! But we also had the Shrimp dinner basket and a shrimp cocktail that was excellent as well. The firecracker cocktail sauce was excellent too. Take a walk in back to see the turtles.”

“This is a friendly locals place serving breakfast comfort foods you enjoyed growing up if you grew up in this area. It's no frills and therefore very reasonably priced. LOTS of tradesmen stop in for breakfast and lunch as they start the day given there's a builder's lumber and hardware store nearby. The food is fresh (the fries are home made, not frozen). The biscuits are some of the best I've had. Only shortfall is there's no restroom inside (have to use the convenience store that's adjacent). Small detriment, though, as the food is worth that slight inconvenience.

“We started coming here as locals for trivia. Met a few couples tonight at the bar who were traveling in for the week. We all got to talking after trivia and noticed the bar staff cleaning up around us and figured it had to be close to closing time (9pm). So feeling rushed we ended our conversation and left. We got to our car and realized it had just turned 9pm. Food is 'ok'. Drinks are same. I'm glad they have some weekly events to bring in the crowds but I hate feeling rushed out. As a local I'd never suggest it to a visitor. Definitely won't make it a regular spot. Stop rushing your paying customers out. Eny your crowds while you have them.”

I got the Sweet Surfer Girl coffee (phenomenal!) and some kind of Jimmy’s Toast that was so good I’m remaking it at home. Price is a little crazy - it was $20 for the piece of toast and the coffee. First off she's from New Jersey and knows good Italian food and secondly the owners are from Long Island New Jersey and New York. The lemon shrimp off the chain. The Caesar is like a shot of garlic cream unbelievable.. The pizza was cooked perfectly. My Italian sub stacked and the pasta salad that came with it and the pepperoncini's amazing. if you get the lemon shrimp you have to dip the breadsticks in it :-)”

“The C-Bar is the perfect to-go spot for drinks while walking around Seaside! My favorite drink is the coconut mojito. My husband asked for a traditional daiquiri, which wasn’t on the menu, and he loved it as well. Highly recommend The C-Bar, and can’t wait to visit again soon!”

“Highlight of our trip! Chef Patrick catered an in home dinner for our family celebrating my parents’ 50th in June 2023 at the house we rented for the week. He worked with me on the menu, accommodating varying adult preferences and making sure our ages 9-15 kids were well fed too. We had so much fun watching him cook and talking that we never actually went to the dining room and instead chose to sit around the kitchen counter. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, and he made sure the kitchen was spotless before he left. Although it was a bit of a splurge, it was worth every penny and we would have Patrick back in a heartbeat!”

“I’m a local and have been eating at your restaurant for the past couple of years. You have a wonderful little gem—it’s always clean and welcoming, with friendly service. It’s a great place for locals and a special spot for tourists to discover while visiting our area.

During my most recent visit, I ordered the two-egg breakfast with coffee and substituted an English muffin for the toast. I also requested a packet of cream cheese, as I have many times before. When paying, I noticed a $1 charge for the cream cheese, which I haven’t been charged for in the past.

I completely understand that restaurants sometimes need to charge for extras. My concern isn’t really about the dollar; it’s that the charge seems inconsistent from one visit to another, and I wasn’t told about it when ordering. Had I known, I would have simply kept the wheat toast rather than paying for cream cheese packets when I didn’t even use both packets of cream cheese.

You have a wonderful restaurant, and I’ll certainly continue coming back. I only wanted to offer a friendly suggestion that the team let customers know whenever a requested item carries an additional charge.

If you think you want the 16oz, nope… get the largest size they have! The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing! The baked goods were fresh & delish! The staff are friendly & helpful! She was so PROFESSIONAL. I order almost $50-60 worth of food.. I tried it all. I asked for a special coffee mocha drink and she literally made up the drink and sold it to me, it was AMAZING. Eat here if you want Thai.”
