“We had an exceptional experience tonight at Stinkys. Our seats overlooked a small bay, the service was awesome, and the food was great! Our server was Nick and he was incredible - especially for helping us with our 2 small girls. We look forward to returning and hope for another great experience and awesome food!“
“Ya'll this is the best guesthouse/B&B type place on 30a. The location is amazing, the rooms and backyard garden are beautiful - and now they have Raw & Juicy doing the food! If you haven't been to Raw & Juicy check it out for fresh, healthy food options - at Hibiscus or at their other locations. Hibiscus Guesthouse has been a sponsor of our local educational outreach program for almost 10 years, donating time, space, and materials for our volunteers. These are good people. The Longleaf Writers Conference loves Hibiscus Guesthouse!“
“We stopped here early on a weekday afternoon while on vacation and we're glad we did. Lots of different varieties of beer to choose from, too many in one visit so we ordered a flight and they were all very good. I wish I were a local; if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely come back.“
“We stopped by during vacation waiting for another brewery to open and had the most fantastic experience. TJ was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, and a joy to spend time with. The area is open with impressive sizes of brew equipment and a variety of selections on tap. There are plenty of things to do while there, and we were guided towards recommendations that would suit our individual palates. Really looking forward to coming back on another trip!“

“If you're looking for a chill place in the Santa Rosa area that isn't super upscale, well priced, & has good food, Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill can do that for you.
It's relatively kid friendly (they have a kids menu and offer crayons & coloring sheets). There are shops around the entrance of you have a wait (we didn't have one but I saw people shopping around the entrance)“

“We had a delicious lunch on Friday. Amazing Fried Chicken paired with veggies and a perfect glass (or two) of bubbles. The Grayton Corner Cafe is a true locals favorite. The owners are also amazing.“

“The food was outstanding.
This was the best avocado toast I have ever had by a clear margin.
Has that with a bowl of the tomatoes soup which was also excellent.
This restaurant is expensive but worth if for all the high quality organic ingredients.
Vegetarian options: This is a mostly vegetarian/ vegan restaurant
Dietary restrictions: They have extensive gluten free options.“

“I typically find that a location's Google rating is inflated, but that's definitely not the case for Pickle's, at least from our experience. We visited on a weekday in December, few other people there, and sat at The Sandbar. Calvin, the bartender, took care and time in giving us suggestions and just chatting about life, the area, traveling, and more - he made us feel welcomed and he was genuinely interested in getting to know us. We didn't have any of their drinks, but the food was stellar -- we tried the Smash Burger and Mac Attack Burger, alongside some Sweet Heat Wings -- all at Calvin's suggestion. It was all a winner.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Pickle's and truly can't comprehend a 3.5 rating for this place, when a 4.3-4.5 is certainly more accurate.“

“There are several places to eat within a few hundred yards of each other in this town. The Great Southern Cafe was just one of the options. On their menu was a Chicken Muffuletta, a fusion of 2 of my favorite sandwiches. So I had to give it a go.
The concept of this dish is spot on. Try this - you won't be disappointed. The Po Boy had fresh shrimp on the sandwich, and not over-seasoned. My compliments to the crew in the kitchen.
The star of this experience was not the food by itself. Shantika, who was our server, absolutely made this a special occasion. We've all been there - "Hello, my name is ________ and I'll be your server - what would you like to drink?" Shantika took a different approach. First, she thanked us for coming in to restaurant, and asked how our day was. Refreshing to say the least. She explained the menu items as she presented the menu to us, and and then asked about drinks. The experience started off great, and ended the same way. She did not offer drinks to go - she simply brought them out. It was in the 90's outside and sunny. It had dawned on me that my wife and I discussed asking for them, and though she did not acknowledge it, she must have heard us while she was attending the adjoining table.
We may never see each other again, but IF you are in the area and in search of a really nice experience, stop by and ask for her. I'm fairly certain that she is not the only star in this establishment, but if you have the chance, it's worth the visit.

“The ice cream was absolutely incredible! My husband and I went with the kiddos while having a spur of the moment family beach trip, and we were not disappointed. I had seen the creamery while we were looking for parking and convinced my husband for us to stop. They have a decent selection to choose from with basics, to fruity, to coffee. I went with the cappuccino crunch, which was decadent. My daughter went with strawberry cheese cake and was a big fan. Our son is basic and enjoyed a classic vanilla, and the husband went with a refreshing root beer float. We all enjoyed it so much. It was a little pricey, with a total of 30$, but at this point, I'm more surprised when I go to the beach and spend less than 30 while eating out. They do not have dine in but have a cute patio and a porch lined with benches and trash cans located in strategic spots. The gentleman serving us was a little rough around the edges, but you never know when it's just a bad day. The ice cream more than made up for it! We enjoyed Blue Mountain Creamy and would love to come back. :)
Parking: There is a small lot in front of the store with room for about 6 cars.“

“We have been coming to Basmati's for over 20 years! As locals here on 30-A we have not found any other restaurant that compares to them! We usually eat our same favorites Asparagus/Crab soup, House Salad and Firecracker Grouper!!! Owners are always present working alongside their servers to make sure we have the best experience! Last night was husband's birthday and the Chocolate /Oreo Crust dessert with Asian Red vanilla bean ice cream topped it off! Great food, great atmosphere! (My birthday is in a few weeks!)“

“The ice cream is openly known as not homemade, Gelato is local in fort walton. Everyone complaining of prices...it's literally posted online and in store. Nobody forced you to stay, order and pay. You shouldn't slam a business because you, the consumer couldn't use common sense and do math.
I've been inside and people are down right rude and then expect those providing the goods and service to just take the verbal spew and be friendly. Seaside is known to have some of the most uptight and rude patrons and the reviews here reflect that.
"I could buy (insert brand name here) for X amount of dollars", do that then instead of going out to establishments. Some people thrive off drama.“

“Hearing good things about Macho Taco so tried it this evening. Street tacos pork belly and pulled pork were 10/10. Husband had stuffed enchiladas, 10/10 from him. I had happy hour house margarita. 8/10, needed more salt and bigger lime wedge. Will be worth going again“

“The waitress/bartender was terribly rude for no reason. Waited on people at the bar fine. Then never came back to see if we needed anything. Once as she passed I asked for a drink and she sat it on the counter like I was supposed to know it was mine, get up, and get it myself. I guess I was supposed to get my daughter a refill behind the counter as well?“

“Stopped in for a drink and some oysters and found the restaurant quite charming. It was a nice afternoon and there is plenty of shady, covered outdoor as well as lots of indoor seating. Service was a little slow but at least two different servers checked on us.
Staff was friendly and knowledgable. The raw oysters tasted good but were not fresh shucked. I would recommend the grilled oysters they were delicious. Prices were good and overall just the atmosphere is worth a stop at this cool place.
Stopped in for lunch another day and the grouper sandwich was good but the service was, well not as good and it seemed to take way too long for a grouper sandwich. But it was cooked perfectly and delish. Definitely be going back, recommend sitting outside.
