“We went here last night 6.19.25 & Paris was our waitress and she went above and beyond. This place was packed from the moment it opened, we were her first night table of 12& she instantly had a bigger table of 15 and she handled both with grace and the most professionalism! “This is a friendly locals place serving breakfast comfort foods you enjoyed growing up if you grew up in this area. It's no frills and therefore very reasonably priced. LOTS of tradesmen stop in for breakfast and lunch as they start the day given there's a builder's lumber and hardware store nearby. The food is fresh (the fries are home made, not frozen). The biscuits are some of the best I've had. Only shortfall is there's no restroom inside (have to use the convenience store that's adjacent). Small detriment, though, as the food is worth that slight inconvenience.

“I had to stop myself from coming back here every day of our vacation. The gluten free 5-cheese sandwich was SO good!! There are benches right in front of the truck that offer shade, as well as the perfect spot for people watching.

Buying our toddler an “I had a meltdown on 30a” shirt also felt apt (😂), so we are unlikely to forget about this place anytime soon!“

“It was our first time going, and we weren’t sure what to expect, but as we were pulling in the parking lot, a man rolled down his window and told us the food was awesome and to try the pork chops. We tried the simple starter. Bread, oil, and herbs. Simple but flavorful! Highly recommend I had the side summer salad and Krioyo pasta. The salad, no joke, was amazing. Full of color and flavor, might be the best salad I’ve ever eaten. The pasta was a generous serving, creamy and spicy with sausage and shrimp, full of flavor! My husband had the pork chops, cheese grits, and fries (I wish he got the collards instead of the fries, but it *was* his meal, so…). The cheese grits were a delicious surprise to me. So, so, so good. If we go back, I’m definitely ordering them (and the collards). The pork chops were, true to our parking lot critic’s word, awesome. I will definitely return. The atmosphere was laid back and wonderful, the food delicious, and the team members were fantastic. 10 out of 10 recommend! “I’m a local and have been eating at your restaurant for the past couple of years. You have a wonderful little gem—it’s always clean and welcoming, with friendly service. It’s a great place for locals and a special spot for tourists to discover while visiting our area.

During my most recent visit, I ordered the two-egg breakfast with coffee and substituted an English muffin for the toast. I also requested a packet of cream cheese, as I have many times before. When paying, I noticed a $1 charge for the cream cheese, which I haven’t been charged for in the past.

I completely understand that restaurants sometimes need to charge for extras. My concern isn’t really about the dollar; it’s that the charge seems inconsistent from one visit to another, and I wasn’t told about it when ordering. Had I known, I would have simply kept the wheat toast rather than paying for cream cheese packets when I didn’t even use both packets of cream cheese.

You have a wonderful restaurant, and I’ll certainly continue coming back. I only wanted to offer a friendly suggestion that the team let customers know whenever a requested item carries an additional charge.

“We are holed up at our rental property with all the bad weatherlike everybody else. our runner told us that this place was authentic and man she wasn't kidding. First off she's from New Jersey and knows good Italian food and secondly the owners are from Long Island New Jersey and New York. The lemon shrimp off the chain. The Caesar is like a shot of garlic cream unbelievable.. The pizza was cooked perfectly. My Italian sub stacked and the pasta salad that came with it and the pepperoncini's amazing. if you get the lemon shrimp you have to dip the breadsticks in it :-)“

“Spectacular. So well run, from start to finish, very efficient and courteous and fast service. Delicious food. We had the pecan crusted triple tail, and their signs grouper dish. Last but not least, the pecan caramel cheesecake…divine, delicious, devilish… def enough for two, maybe even three.“

“We picked this place because we were in the mood for Thai and it appeared to be the most authentic and least pretentious place in the area. The food was EXCELLENT and the service was great. Can’t recommend it enough if you are in the area. We had fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls, pad Thai, pad see eww, pad kee mow (spelling for all???) and everything was absolutely delicious. Eat here if you want Thai.“

“Steamboat Grill has great food, a fun atmosphere, and is an awesome place to watch sports. The staff is wonderful and truly makes you feel welcome. A special shout-out to Jameson, who was absolutely amazing! She’s a fantastic team player and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. That kind of genuine attention to guests is hard to find.“

“Bud & Alley's is the best waterfront dining in Seaside and likely all of 30A. The breakfast is particularly excellent, and the staff is attentive and kind. They fed our large group and everyone loved it. The Longleaf Writers Conference is a big fan of Bud & Alley's - a supporter of our local educational outreach program for ten years! (The rooftop bar for sunset can't be missed.)“

“Edit: This happened in Freeport. Highly do not recommend to come here if you plan to pay with a Card. Used my card to pay for the bill and tip. Checked my account the next day and they took out more than what the bill was for. Called the restaurant to speak with a manager out of curiousity to ask why I was billed more, as I signed the check for a certain amount. The guy was instantly rude. Claimed according to his screen I paid "this amount for food, this amount for tips, and this amount for tax. Totalling this" Listening to those amounts... there was more than I wrote for the tip (and it wasnt like I left a bad tip to begin with). I told him the receipt I had signed wasn't that amount for the tip. He sounded pretty agitated about it claiming that was the amount I was billed for. I get that, but that's not the amount my receipt nor what I signed for was... He wasn't even physically looking at their copy of the signed receipt and I tried explaining that I did not authorize that much. I ended up hanging up on them before they got me to the point of being rude back. They can keep the extra tip. They can lose another customer. If you decide to go to this restaurant, be careful. Sounded like the "manager" of this place didn't even care they done that.“
