Hammerhead's Bar & Grille Reviews
Their food was mediocre. We ordered a calamari but received a plate full of them overly breaded which we could hardly eat and ended up wasted away. The waiter couldn't get our orders right and had to remind him serveral times but that could be due to the music. On a positive note, their lobster bisque was actually good.
Food was 10/10
Service was garage. We had to ask for refills. Waiter guessed on one of the food orders because “she didn’t hear it” So instead of a $45 meal she picked $75 meal that was “close enough” to what she heard. Food was amazing everything else sucked!
I really wanted to give a better review but the bugs (gnats, flies, and mosquitoes) were so bad the entire time we were there that it was impossible to enjoy ourselves. Even the wait staff was swatting bugs as they were taking orders. Our goat cheese appetizer came out with no naan. Just a block of cheese with no way to eat it!. We had to ask and then wait quite a while to get that. Food was good and the view is nice but they really need to address how to fix their bug problem....read full review

Hammerhead's Bar & Grille provides a good dining experience with attentive servers and live entertainment. The restaurant features a large outdoor seating area with a view of the water, which guests enjoy along with a variety of dishes such as raw oysters, blackened grouper, and Mahi Mahi. Kids can have fun participating in a jam session with a jazzy blues band or simply enjoying the view. Some guests have noted that the view is especially appealing at night, with a lively atmosphere created by a DJ and dancing. The food receives mixed reviews, with highlights like fresh, tasty Chargrilled Oysters, while some starters like boom boom shrimp and hush puppies are considered fried from frozen and not very good. Drinks are served in plastic cups and may not look very appealing, with some guests choosing to use cash to avoid additional credit card fees. Overall, Hammerhead’s offers a fun, family-friendly environment with good food and entertainment, but guests are advised to choose their orders wisely.
