Disappointing:( Pork Belly was literally 2 logs of fat. Side potatoes SUPER salty. Crème Brûlée was runny. Filet was good & cooked correctly. I wouldn’t recommend or return. Service was fine. Expensive
Wow! We've lived in the area for 16 years, and Ovide at thr Hotel Effie opened 6 years ago, and this is our first visit. We had Brunch, homemade Pasta, homemade pancakes, etc. The restaurant was super clean, with a very calm atmosphere. The food was superb, and our server, Ashley, was delightful. We'll definitely be back!
Grilled Squid starter is a must, medium rare filet paired with a Pinot Noir, scallops w/ risotto. Can't complain at all, excellent food and service from Pablo!

Ovide offers an exceptional dining experience in the Sandestin area. The food is incredible and creative, with dishes like the fried chicken platter with collards and cheesy potatoes, the catch of the day, and perfectly seared scallops. The atmosphere is comfortable and sophisticated, making it a great spot for special occasions and clients. The staff work hard to provide fantastic, attentive, and informative service, with wonderful food recommendations. Many find the food unbelievably good and one of the best meals ever had, with great entrees and those biscuits. Overall, Ovide remains a fantastic addition to the local dining scene.
