Fatboys - Miramar Beach FL

First time eating at Fat Boys in Miramar. Our server, Jodie, was so friendly and helpful and always wearing a smile! The young man who brought our food out also did so with a smile. The manager was very friendly as well - we We’re sure to tell her what a pleasant staff she had. As expected, or burgers and fries were delicious!

Unfortunately they closed @830 new years eve.

We ordered an appetizer and the dip that came with it, it, clearly there was something in the dip. Upon opening the dip it was a spot of mold about the size of a dime and over a 1/4 inch thick. I saw it as soon as the lady put it down and she quickly walked away. She had to have seen it before putting the food down. It was gross.
Wings were good.

We did our normal searching on Google for a yummy restaurant to try and ended up here. When we walked in it was a little slow and my son wasn’t too sure. We sat down and the wait staff immediately was there giving few recommendations and getting our drink order. We ended up getting hot honey wings and lemon pepper wings, they were both so good but the hot honey was my favorite. We also tried the bacon burger which was delicious. My son got black buffalo wings and sweet orange teriyaki. He said the black buffalo could’ve been spicier but the teriyaki was delicious. They have a 2 for 1 margarita during happy hour! I personally did not enjoy the Philly steak egg rolls but the family did.

I really wanted to like this place. I had the boneless wings, cheeseburger and fries; not impressed. But the price was right and the bartender Hollie was great. Lots of TV’s, might be great for game day and apps.

2 Strikes against them. 1. We placed a to go order and was charged $10 in gratuity, no where on web site mentions such a charge! When I called to ask about the gratuity the manager was very rude and condescending with a major attitude. My question was simple and was asked politely. The manager reply was can't you read? yes explain... I was told the charge is listed for to go orders on the front door and hangs up the phone on me. 2. Hair in the food!! At this point no reason to call back but my co worker took a pick of the hair. Very disgusting!

I do not recommend this Fatboys, Foods not bad but the bartender added gratuity themselves to the bill and I ordered wings to go. But when you order online you choose to tip or not. I didn't even get a choice, I got zero service with an automatic gratuity, that's ridiculous. Also the Bartender named Natasha asked for my pin for my card to pay, she was very rude to us as well.

Natasha; thank you for serving my family and I during Black Friday - we originally came here just to grab drinks to hydrate during our shopping and casually mentioned that "we'd be back" since have never eaten at Fat Boys and had no idea what to expect food-wise.

We were hungry and were going to drive back home an hour away and decided to come back to eat here.

Great food, fast service from the back of the house (loved that your team in the back of the house was having fun laughing together too). Great atmosphere and we loved the high quality speakers the music was playing from. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Unfriendly customer service. Chips and salsa was so basic. Slow service even though the restaurant was empty. Food just was not good and I’m literally so easy to please. Buffalo chicken sandwich, the chicken was so thick that it wasn’t possible to bit into. Served on Texas toast which immediately got soggy and fell apart. When i go on vacation i expect expensive food, so while I didn’t balk at all at the price, it definitely felt over priced by time we tried the food. The hostesses were super friendly, that was the only redeeming quality.

Food disgusting not worth what we paid for and delivery guy could not grasp his directions so food was late and cold when we recd it! I paid for extras like lettuce tomato and wish I could share a pic of my lettuce disgusting! Didn’t receive the order correctly with 2packs of ketchup for two orders of fries. Also paid upgrade for chili cheese fries which we did not receive! Never again will I order while visiting the area nor do I recommend!

We ordered off uber eats and I feel like I was robbed. 🤣 The burgers were an attempt at medium but were undercooked severely, two of them went right in the trash. We tried the Mexican burger which unfortunately had no toppings. All of the sides are heavily over salted and under fried.. They pickles were such a bad texture we didn’t even finish chewing, cauliflower was over breaded and not cooked long enough and the zucchini fries were half fried batter with no zucchini in it… The only reason you get two stars is because minus the MOLDY marinara sauce with the Philly eggrolls, they were delicious! 🤤

Overall, we will never waste $90 here again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else does either. It’s strange how high their ratings are given this was my experience.
