Very good! Best subs I’ve had from Pensacola to Miramar Beach! Wish we had more of them in the area and near the base. Reminds me of subs I’ve had in Jersey. Fries are good too!

Florida weather today was stormy and orders were difficult to receive in the evening because of it, but the two female workers were amazing! They helped me resolve the issue and I could definitely relate to everything going on as I work at a local sandwich shop in my hometown. Thanks gals for being so helpful! 💪🏻💪🏻 Yummy Food too ❤️❤️

Visiting from Indiana, never heard of Jon Smith Subs until today. Sandwich was OUTSTANDING, softest bread (must have been baked today) that I’ve ever had with a sub sandwich. Jersey Mike’s and Jimmy John’s are good, this place is better. Highly recommend!

Stopped here for the first time for lunch..Staff was very friendly. We ordered a steak bomb and shared it was very good and plenty of good hot fries..the cook even cut it in half and wrapped seperately and served it...That was a very nice gesture..

The sandwiches were a hit thank you for such great food and prices!!

Wish I could find more places like this - I can't say that enough. Great and fresh food with great service - real service. I ordered the steak & cheese with onions. Steak was definitely fresh and delicious. The bread from the sub roll was light & airy with a subtle toast. The sandwich seemed to have it's own type of sub sauce they use - that sauce added a nice base to the sandwich and kept the bread from getting soggy.
I stopped in here on a rainy afternoon but you couldn't tell that from talking with the crew. Watching the crew interact you can see they get along and respect each other.
If you've ever seen 'The Bear' and wondered what it's like to eat at 'The Beef' (sandwich shop in the show), I imagine this is what it's like. Really cool to see a local restaurant doing their thing and doing it well!

This place is soooo good! My husband is from Philly, and it’s been nearly impossible to find a cheesesteak that lives up to his standards—until now. They shave their meat to order and cook it perfectly every time. 10/10 highly recommend! We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Hands down one of the best delis around! The subs are stacked with fresh meats, crisp veggies, and soft bread that tastes baked the same day. You can tell they actually care about quality everything’s sliced to order and the portions are legit. The staff is super friendly and always remembers my order, which makes it feel like a local favorite instead of a chain. Whether it’s a quick lunch or you’re grabbing something for the road, this place absolutely hits the spot every time. Highly recommend grabbing an Italian or turkey club you won’t be disappointed!

John Smith’s Sub Shop in Destin is absolutely amazing! The service is top-notch — as soon as we got there, they dropped the fries fresh to order, and you could really taste the difference. Perfectly hot, crispy, and delicious! The bread on the subs is unbelievably soft and fresh, and everything we tried was full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food and their customer service. Easily one of the best spots in Destin — we’ll definitely be back!
