I've been living across the street for two months and have never seen or smelled smoke coming from this place. They cook the food elsewhere. I went there one day with some friends. Everyone's meat was bone dry. I ordered chicken and received a breast so overcooked it was like chicken jerky! Somehow even the brisket was dry! How do you make a dry brisket?! The sauces are ok but nothing really unique or special. To top it all off the guy working there is loud, brash and unpleasant. Don't bother with this place! It's terrible!

Underwhelmed with the quality of the meat. The owner said it had won more awards than any brisket but honestly, it wasn’t even top 5 best brisket I had ever eaten. I thought everything seemed like it had been sitting for a while and didn’t taste particularly fresh.

Sauces are handed out in small packs, much like you would get at a fast food restaurant when asking for ketchup or mustard. It is a one star for food but I gave it a two because the price was reasonable. It is also a "cash only" restaurant.

This is a BBQ shack and he has won a national title twice!! We had the ribs, brisket and pulled pork all were excellent. This is a great spot with excellent food.
