I used to live in the area and I went there 2x. I loved the service and their menu so did my friend as well. Well I traveled from TX where I live now, my friend and I checked their hours on Google and Facebook today, there was no recent post. So of course we went down there at 8:30am since it said it would be open at 8am. My friend showed up first and tried to get ahold of me, and of course I pulled in and noticed it was just her vehicle in the lot. Apparently, the restaurant was closed and I was bummed. She and I were confused too because there was no sign at the door and she even double checked online to see any updates, but nothing. Very disappointing.

They need to consider by communicating with their customers on the door and online regardless.

The food was amazing; my husband and I ordered the frittata - best I’ve ever had. Kids devoured their kid breakfast. Highly recommend for the food!

Our waitress Petronia made us feel so welcomed. It was my birthday and it was a blessing to have such a kind waitress and such incredible food. This place is incredible I highly recommend.

Breakfast was flavorless. The bendicts was burnt, the potatoes looked crisp but we're soggy, the steak was ordered med rare , but came out well done. The expresso biscuits were burns and over cooked. This place has declined and it costed me $70. For burnt flavorless food.

Went in and waited 10 minutes and never got seated. Pathetic excuse for an expensive restaurant. And yes, I'm sure it was here, you better check your employees, because I waited at least 10 minutes with no sign of a single server or host. This was the MAMA CLEMENZAS IN MIRAMAR BEACH. Also don't try to insult me saying I don't know where I was. This was your establishment, take responsibility for your poor service and lazy employees.

This was once our favorite brunch spot to hit several times in a week each vacation trip to Destin. Unfortunately quality, service, and cleanliness has gone downhill. Prices are also high. Went here for brunch this sept and had a horrible exp. Crepes were overcooked and barely any filling in them. The panini sunny side up egg was way undercooked and the bacon is low quality compared to what it once was. The “specials” have not changed in years and the only thing with the specials board that has changed is the increase in price per dish. The bathroom was disgusting and had feces on the walls. Waiter was more interested in being on his phone vs service to our table (we were the only customers in the restaurant). We won’t be coming back.

Very disappointing. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict served in a Yorkshire pudding. The photo on the tv screen looked good, but when it arrived it was shocking! The pudding was a solid, uncooked mass of dough/batter (see the pic) and the egg had been perched on the top. The staff insisted that this is what a Yorkshire pudding looks like (we are English and have eaten them more time than I care to remember!), so no apology or attempt to rectify the situation.
I had the roasted chicken omelette but this was overcooked, dry and the meat very tough.
Recent reviews indicate a change of ownership, so old reviews may not be valid. I do not recommend this place.

Update: The owner responded and indicated that a Yorkshire pudding is not the same as an English muffin. I am English, and Yorkshire puddings are supposed to be light, crispy, and have a cup shape, traditionally to hold gravy when served with roast beef. Unfortunately, the pudding served at Mama Clemenza, was dense, not risen and had a flat top (due to no rise in the oven). See the numerous photos on the web of a good Yorkshire pudding!

We were driving home looking for somewhere to eat that wasn’t a chain restaurant and just happened to drive past this gem. It’s a small restaurant with big flavor!!!!!!! My husband had a chef special of cinnamon roll and chick and wow!!!!!!!

First, I got a hair in my omelette, second, the chicken was so dry and chewy. Menu says european breakfast, but its worst than any normal breakfast. Omelette felt like deep fried and so oily and overcooked. Menu said “italian panini breakfast” and came out just a regular white toast bread. Such high prices for so low quality food. So disappointing.
