Mezcal is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Destin. We recommend this place to our friends when they come to town. We absolutely love, love it and our waiter, Pat, was so attentive! We can’t wait for our next trip to come back here and this restaurant again!

Special place tucked in the corner of a strip mall. Beautiful inside, smelled great and food was fresh and delicious. We both ordered The Grande for dinner. One beef and one chicken enchilada, one beef tamale and one beef crispy taco over Spanish rice and twice cooked beans. We ordered Flan for a scrumptious dessert.

We have ate here twice in a week! Very happy with the service and the food was excellent. Had both times the chicken fajitas shared with my husband enough for two. The chips & salsa were so good and fresh.

I love going to this restaurant when visiting on vacation. We went 2 years ago and I remembered it and had to go back. The staff is incredible. By far the best service we had all week. Every worker checks on you. There were 4 of us and everybody loved their meal. Will go back when I visit again! 10/10

Skip this place…
Second time here & both were below average to bad service & food quality.

We were seated outside today & waited 25 mins but no one ever came with chips/salsa or drinks.
We had to go ask for a server.
He took our order, but we had to ask for chips/salsa then never saw him again (until he wanted a tip).

Another server who was walking by asked if we would like a refill, and noticed that I hadn’t eaten my meal and checked to see if everything was OK (which it wasn’t as it tasted awful was super soggy) and put in a different order. Yet another server stop by to pick up our dirty dishes. The original server was asked three times to bring the check and we are about to get up and walk out when he finally brought it.
The check was wrong because it had the original food order on it that I didn’t eat and sent back.
all in all it just super disappointing and we were very ignored by service staff.

Food quality was below good (chicken tinga tasted like it was canned).
