Service was a little unwelcoming and slow. Drink orders took a while and 2 of 3 were wrong. Food was good. Filet was a little over sauced. Mac and goat cheese was definitely a highlight.

Restaurant was clean, atmosphere was calming, staff was friendly, food was not exceptional but was good. My side came out towards the end of my meal, but they did light a candle on my husband's dessert for his birthday. 4 stars

We enjoyed the dinner. Service was a bit slow but food was great. We sat at a small table for 4 people so next time will ask for a different table. Kudos to the chef for the fab menu!

Christmas dinner w friends was very disappointing to say the least. Our waitress was unfriendly and downright rude. Steak was way too well done and pasta dish was cold. Tyler was helpful and did try to make things right. We will not return.

Came on Christmas Day with family for dinner. There weren't menus for everybody and we had to share the food special menu. Food was very good and served promptly . Drink service on water and drinks could have been better. Disappointed to learn at the end that our owner discount did not apply because it was a holiday. Think that should be stated in communications/ads when. Inviting them to come.

Ovide was a wonderful experience. Everything about it was first class. The food, service and ambience were excellent. It was a great find! We will definitely go back on our next trip to Destin.

After reading so many sub par reviews we decided to form our own opinion. Luis our server was delightful and very professional and friendly. The steak tartare was delicious as was the Caesar salad. The quail was perfectly fried but I didn't love the collards , but I'm not a fan anyway. The triple tail was delicious. Had a nice bottle of 2023 Flowers Pinot Noir which went perfect w the dishes. The only complaint is it should've been Cellar temperature. It was served warm. You need to keep your reds at 55°. So we asked for an ice bucket to bring down the temp. All good after that. Nice wine list by the way and fairly priced. All in all a lovely night and dinner. Very pretty hotel also. Live music in lounge was a great touch too after dinner. Cheers 🥂 and thank you Ovide

Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Staff was not polite. Food was overpriced. Mashed potatoes were cold. Stuffing was horrible. Very disappointed. Will never return
 The meal was an outstanding Thanksgiving feast! Our server was great! Checked on us frequently kept us informed on the status of our meal. It was very personal.

Great experience - enjoyed dinner here after a long drive and the cuisine was fresh and creative - so much so that I was confident to bring some clients in for dinner a couple of nights later vs going off-site. Scallops were perfectly seared, portions were just right and shout out to Aubrey, our server who did a fantastic job.

We went to Ovide during a very slow time. The service was awful even though it was only us and one guy at the bar at the time. The waiter was a woman with a short hair cut and what sounded like a Jamaican accent. She immediately let us know that if we wanted something other than “wine or Tito's” that she would have to go to another bar to get it. And this wasn't, “I don't have it, but I'll be happy to get it for you if you don't mind waiting.” It felt like she was annoyed that we were there and telling us how inconvenient it would be for her to do her job. We've worked in service and hospitality. We have a lot of patience for people who may be having a rough day, but we don't have a lot of patience for people who behave like they want us to be uncomfortable so we will leave. We stayed long enough to try the steak tartar. It was sadly not flavorful at all. The buttered toast and Parmesan crostini overpowered each bite. We cut out losses and ended up ordering from Door Dash. We really wanted to love it. The restaurant was beautiful. The host was kind. Everything else beyond us being seated was horrible. Truly one of the worst experiences we have ever had at any restaurant.

My wife and daughter had a terrible experience. Starting with a understaffed restaurant. Bread baskets for $9 For 3 small pieces of bread that should have been complimentary. Entrees that a toddler could cook better. I can go on but im frankly pissed that this $100 per person resturant passes for Fine dinning. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. No Amount of excuses makes this or concessions could right this ship. BEWARE SAVE YOUR MONEY!
