First and foremost, Ruby Slippers takes “going above and beyond” to the next level. The food, the atmosphere, and the service was top tier and we will definitely be telling everyone we know to come and eat here. This wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. Our server, Taryn, not only explained the menu to us and was so patient with all of our questions, she educated us on the owners and their love for food and how they make things from scratch. This food not only was handmade, but the love put into it was evident. If you’re thinking about it, do it! Go eat at Ruby Slippers! You won’t regret it.

P.S. get the beignets! We had the King Cake ones for Mardi Gras and it was delicious. And the shrimp and grits! *chef’s kiss*

Oh my gosh that was good food! And Really great service by Taryn! Not only was her knowledge of the food and area in depth, she made it a fun experience. Made our morning! We will 100% be coming back on our next beach trip! It was family friendly, high quality, homemade food. And dang that Vanilla cream! The King Cale benets! Ughh! It has cheese cake in it!!!!! CHEESECAKE!!!

This little family-owned brunch spot felt like home the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the food was absolutely phenomenal — the kind of meal you keep thinking about afterward. The service was so warm and genuine, like being taken care of by family. You can really feel the love they put into both the food and the experience. We’ll definitely be back! Taryn was our server and she was the sweetest & most bubbly person! She definitely cares for her customers and their experience!

After leaving a review expression my disappointment in an order I received. I was responded to with professionalism and my concerns where heard and ask to try them again. I did so and WOW did they listen, I received a revamped version that was delicious and beautiful. Thank you for hearing me and thank you for the amazing food! I really enjoyed going here this morning! This was my first time and i have no complaints. Rosie and Lisa were doing their darn thing in there! I loved the mimosa flight and pancakes. My godmom loved her breakfast tacos!

I visit here on Veterans Day. The location of marvelous around the restaurant. Catfish dish with grits were not the greatest. I'm not sure if it was the flour then once I did get into it a little burnt. I no longer continue to eat it and the biscuit was not that marvelous either as it was room temperature. I can save the blue lavender mimosa what's okay. Even though I got a discount of a small discount due to I ate a portion. Are they still leave a tip for the young lady normally I don't when service of my meal wasn't great. Thanks for having me in your establishment.
