Update:Me and my family went back to speak with Patrick, who was very kind. We discussed several things that we had observed, and Patrick made things right for us. Patrick also advised that he had already spoken with staff as well. While we were there, several customers came in, so clearly the restaurant has a good following! One customer was a regular. At the end of the day, it may have just been inopportune timing for us to try the food.This was our first time at the restaurant, and we ordered To-Go. When we walked in, the girl at the counter was obviously not interested in being there, and was low-key rude.On my order, they forgot to give me my drink and the dipping sauce. All 4 of us ordered chicken tenders, but mine were southern style and theirs were too spicy to eat when they hadn't asked for spicy. The macaroni and cheese had a weird grainy texture too, so it makes me think the cheese sauce is made with a powder.The food took forever to be done as well. While we were waiting, 4 guys came in and the girl at the counter seemed to ignore them while she continued to look at receipts. Within a few minutes, they left without ordering.I definitely won't be returning, I hope they can stay in business...

We were shopping at the mall and ended up at Waldo’s thinking it was going to be okay, but it was outstanding. It was the best fried chicken I’ve had in a while! Cole slaw was delicious and fries were crispy. The chicken tastes soooo good! I will definitely come back! It was a really nice surprise

I waited 30 minutes and didn’t even order. There was only a couple people working which was definitely not enough staff. Felt like the workers did not care that we were trying to order. Workers were terrible ??

I meant to stop into this location sooner, as I frequent the one in Dothan when I’m up there for work! I met the owner, who mentioned he recently acquired the spot! Everything is cooked to order, which is easily proven true as the kitchen is open to the dining room! I’ll happily wait a few extra minutes for fresh versus something sitting in a warmer! We will be sure to stop by whenever we are on this side of town!
My family & I live in the local area but was out doing some shopping & saw this place as "Now Open". So we decided to check it out. It was 10 of us with several small kids. There were about 7-10 other folks inside already and 1 family in front of us before ordering. The menu was very easy to read. I would maybe ask for one to be at eye level or on the counter vs. up above (it may already be 1 also, I just didn't see it). We all ordered our food, and everything came out with 10-15 mins of placing the order. The kids had chicken tender kids' meals with fries or mac & cheese and 1 had fried chicken meal. The older kids had 3-4 piece tender meals with fries, and I had 6-piece lemon pepper wings.The place was nice and clean to include the restroom and the staff including the owner were all nice & welcoming.I definitely recommend this place & we'll definitely be back.
