ZEN Japanese Grill & Sushi Bistro

This place was fine. Poke bowl was a bit over-sauced. Vegetable roll was falling apart.

Ok, this place wasn't terrible but the sushi is not worth 15-18 per role. Not much fish and the crab waste very hard in the roll. The service was good and they were very nice. Kids hibachi steak was 15.50 which is high. I'm just extremely surprised at the 4.9 is all.

Highly recommend! Erica bowl, Volcano roll, gyoza and steak/chicken hibachi were all excellent!

This restaurant was a wonderful place to dine for our family while on vacation. Everything was amazing! The flavors and the quality of the food were so good.

Gotta shoutout the quality of service here: my mom ordered a Riesling that she said tasted old, so our server came to the table with a brand new bottle of Riesling, and poured it right from the fresh bottle. Besides that, all the sushi rolls were great, although the selection was a tad bit overwhelming. If you’re looking for a great meal that’s reasonably priced, Zen is your place!

We arrived at 4:30pm after the beach (which was nice being the only people there). Very large menu with different types of Japanese food and a well rounded sushi menu. It takes 30 min just to look over all of the items! lol Extremely pleased with the service, and the quality of the tasty food.

We had such an amazing experience here! Every staff member is so kind and courteous. Angie and Devina were our servers and they were the best! Our food was amazing! Drinks amazing! 10 out 10!

The service was so good and the food was even better! There is a full bar and sooo many options on the menu for food. There was a cute little flower vase on the sushi plate and they surprised our party with a celebratory birthday desert! Angie was our server and she was super helpful and attentive! I’m not a person who usually likes sushi and I really only came for the birthday party but I was super pleasantly surprised with Zen!!!

We had Karaage , sushi roll and Salmon ( sorry forgot the name of the dish ? ) everything was tasty enough!
Only one thing is I wish they have plain Udon.

We stopped for lunch and had sushi. This place is awesome. The rolls are large and filling. We will be back next time we are in town. If you like sushi and are in the area, don't miss out on this place!

My fiancee brought me here as a surprise, and I'm glad she did. This place has A1 service! You know it's good when every customer that leaves tells the staff goodbye. Everything that touched that table was hot and fresh as can be. We were in and out in 30 minutes. I can't wait to go back and try some of the interesting sushi combinations they had.

Our new favorite sushi and more! We have tried so many things on the extensive menu and all have been fantastic. Having quality wines gets you everywhere with us and the service is top notch.

While vacationing in Destin, I went here for sushi for a girl's night. The staff were pleasant The waitress brought us a roll to try on the house.I had a cocktail that was good. We had gyoza and edamame for starters. Then the four of us ordered a variety of sushi rolls and shared. All of the rolls were delicious. I will return on my next trip to Destin.
