Visiting the Monticello area, and stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Place was hopping. Jackie, the owner, took our order. We went with BLT's from the very extensive menu. Another employee came by in a bit regarding the drink order because they were out of unsweet tea. When I asked later, I learned like almost everything they make it in house and just ran out. It took a bit for the sandwiches and fries to hit the table. Like I said, the place was busy. Your standard BLT on toast. Nice crisp bacon paired with quality lettuce. The fries were okay, maybe a bit too salty for me. The wait was bearable due to all to see/read on the walls. All in all, it was a nice lunch.
We happened upon Jackie's when searching for a local place for breakfast. We received wonderful service, the food was great and the environment was warm and inviting. We were fortunate to have a wonderful conversation with Jackie. We will make Jackie's a part of our travel plans when we are in the area.
Absolutely fantastic service and food. Many, many choices, something for everyone. It's why you go to a small town, friendly people, comforting and great food! Amazing omelets!
This was an amazing find! I had the caprese salad and the friend green tomatoes and both were delicious. The menu was packed with other options that tempted me. Staff were friendly, restaurant was clean and in the the cutest little location. Definitely recommend.
Waited 1 hour and still did not get our food. When we asked Jackie she told us we were still two people behind. Wait the table if 12 looked done, she keep saying sorry peeps to the rest of us she took orders for. Then I realized she was serving all that came in behind us. So if you are not her peeps then your order goes to the back. Don’t stop if your traveling thru Monticello, your not part of the family. She should also not take tables of 12 unless she closes down the restaurant. Or schedules them when the restaurant is slow. Or don’t take our orders then make you wait. Never got food had to leave they never started our order after 1 hour.
Fabulous, fun atmosphere and amazingly delicious food. We absolutely will be back and recommend it 100 %!!

Lovely, a hidden gem. On our way back from Georgia to Florida we decided to stop in for breakfast. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food was fabulous. I’d recommend stopping by for a homemade meal with a family atmosphere.

It was a blast! The shrimp basket was to die for…appetizer fried pickles was good. The owner was really friendly and great. I was waiting on a friend from Tampa at a table outside and got there about a 1/2-hr early and it started storming, so I went inside and told them I didn’t want to take up a space as it would be a while before my friend got there. She poo-pooed that, sent me to a table and brought me a drink. I loved it!
