Johnston’s Southern Style Restaurant

The reason I gave it the three stars for atmosphere and service is because of people were friendly and the atmosphere was decent but when I went and got my order I must say I was sadly disappointed I am a fan of barbecue I love barbecue I eat at Sonny's all the time and it's one of my favorites this place gave me the majority of instead of pulled pork it was like pulled fat and I almost gagged on my order I got all the way home after spending the money I did about $35 on various items and it just was not just was not especially with the Johnston's pricing and brand name it should be much better

The food was dry and old. I should have known when I looked at it. But I am from out of town working here this week and saw the Google advertisement so I tried it. The peach cobbler was good. But that was it. Had the dry ribs and dry pulled pork.

Picked up 1/4 cow. So far I'm happy with the purchase. I've cooked hamburgers and some fresh sausage I picked up, AWESOME 👍

I don't know where you folks ate, but out food was terrible. Tough meat, veggies from a can. This is not a sit-down restaurant, or a buffet, or a cafeteria style arrangement. It is a tiny serving area with only a few items available. Served in a styrofoam take-out tray. And quite expensive for what you get. Very disappointed.

I'll go back, I want to try stuff that wasn't available that day. They do daily specials. The menu pictures on Google are not what is served daily, just FYI. The cornbread and mac and cheese were awesome.
