My favorite meat market! The selection never disappoints. I’m always thankful for the staff that goes above and beyond. They offer to help you to your car. The prices are always great! A warm friendly shopping experience!

I ordered and picked up on March 7th of this year a 4th of a cow his roughly 1070 also picked up the other things while in there it wasn't real organized as far as where to go and pick up the meat and then when I get around there there's a bunch of young people sitting out back and they let one older man load it really didn't examine it due to all the good reviews, had a friend with me that needed to back home get. I got home and unloaded , it look sort of fatty,the package was there as listed. hamburger was pretty dry hamburger, several I cooked it for stated do. It states fine,But see chunks, disappointed in that. The roasts were good the steaks were tough didn't get any t-bones,3 ribeye, 3 NY,3 half pound filet. 4 whole liver. Who eats that! Not to mention the $15 charge for boxes that I known that I would have brought my own

Great 99 year old meat market with an attached restaurant. I bought three flavors of fresh pork sausage and hickory smoked bacon sliced in front of me! Haven’t cooked any yet, but this shop came highly recommend! Florida Man Approved!

Their sausage is THE best. Although under new ownership, expected quality remains. Building is being spruced up and looks great.

Why have I never been here before!!!

If you're anywhere near Tallahassee and love high-quality meats, Johnston's Meat Market is an absolute must-visit. Hands down, it's the best meat store I've been to in the area. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with top-notch customer service. Every salesperson was genuinely helpful and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to assist. The owner even took the time to personally speak with us, sharing insights about the store's offerings, including the fact that they ship to Tallahassee twice a week—which is a huge plus!

One of the things that stood out most was that the meat is cut fresh in-store, and they always have fresh cuts available. That kind of quality and attention to freshness is rare... they also carry fresh milk and other local products, making it a one-stop shop for top-tier ingredients.

I can't recommend Johnston's enough—definitely worth the visit!

P.s they also have meat boxes and an aptly named Clucker Box :)
