Attended the last showing of Sweeney Todd which was a sold out show, so recommend buying tickets in advance. The characters were well cast and the play sets were very well done. There was also a live orchestra which was a welcome surprise and Bloody Mary’s at the bar with all the garnishes. The performance was extremely entertaining and was 3 hours long with the intermission.Only negative is how small the space is in the seating. I'm 6' and my knees were firmly planted...
First time going to see a show at MOH. One of my sons recently graduated college and saw the Opera House had the musical Sweeney Todd production. He asked to go as a gift.The musical from start to finish was, WOW!The last show we had seen was in a different state and it was the opera, Mary Queen of Scots. As someone who is on that stage a lot,I love the opera house, though I do wish they would install better air conditioning or something because the dressing rooms are so hot and get smelly, plus dancing and moving around on stage gets very hot at times.
