Smothered porkchops were pretty good, The GUMBO I WOULDNT LET MY DOG EAT. They put sugar in food it shouldnt go in . The lady that took my order was absolutely amazing though, I give her a 10 but the food I would give a 2 out of 10.

For a small establishment here in Monticello it has a wide variety of products (at a great price) that are delicately prepared and served with a smile and style, i really wish you all the best and hope you are here to for many years to come.

We tried this place and the mac and cheese was sticky and dry, the cole slaw was was too sweet, overall very disappointing.

Not sure why it's got 4 stars. Chicken strips taste like breading, o ya maybe the thick batter breading is why. Chicken/breading comes with no dipping sauce. Sides are just ok they are not that great. I won't go

we stopped in on our way home. food in the pictures looked good. we like good ol home cooked food. we had a taste of the jerk chicken, ribs, fried chicken with some Mac N Cheese, green beans, collards, etc. the greens, potato salad & collards we're good. jerk chicken was ok. didn't care for the texture of the skin. fried chicken was good. the ribs were somewhat chewing and a tad later on the way home they didn't sit well. met the cook.. she was excited about cooking & I think as she continues she'll be great. her chocolate cake was fantastic!
