For my partner and I, this was divine intervention. On a week-long trip we looked for a place near Tallahassee to stop over and came across Daffodale. Luckily, there were rooms available, and our stay was on Valentines Day. After we booked online, I got a call from one of the Innkeepers, Cathy to ask if we wanted to book dinner as well. The room included breakfast and dinner was optional. The dinner was a 3-course meal, lovely options. There were decorations for Valentine’s Day that were tasteful and cute. I had mentioned that I was gluten free, and Cathy was kind to have gluten free bread for me. It was the best fresh gluten free bread I have ever had!! Dinner was punctual and we did our best to honor their time as well. The safari room is unique, like the entire décor of the house and grounds. Cathy and Scotty have cultivated and curated a full experience that stems from who they are as individuals and as a couple. It was beautiful to see the partnership and business that has grown out of their love for each other and the work they share together. They are great hosts and we felt at peace in their spaces. We wish we could have stayed longer but plan to return. Lots to experience and go with the flow here. It was indeed a blessing.

We stopped into the Daffodale House for afternoon tea. Everything about the experience was wonderful. Cathy was very accomodating when making the reservation, as we were traveling through town and required a later-than-normal tea time. We were warmly greeted upon entering and found our table ready, complete with first course and full teapots. The homemade tea treats were just delicious! The croissant sandwich was a favorite... and the scones were fantastic. The house is lovely and filled with all sorts of interesting antiques. We showed some interest in the ghost tour which led us to meeting Cathy's husband, Scott. He walked us through a few of the rooms and readily discussed his collection of antiques, all the while being thoroughly entertaining. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more and look forward to returning when we are in the area.

Our group of seven savored Victorian tea on Saturday afternoon, complete with savories, quiches, scones, and sweets.. Then two of us spent the night to more fully enjoy the house and property. We started our Sunday with a cooked-to-order breakfast before we headed home. Treat yourself to the Daffodale House. You’ll be glad you did!

Had an absolutely great stay at this quaint lil Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are very nice and the beds are extremely soft. We had a lovely dinner and the hosts and owners, Scott and Cathy were awesome. The grounds are beautiful and there is plenty of privacy. They have a vast collections of antiques to peruse through, and they have plenty of trinkets available for purchase as well.My wife had reserved the night for a paranormal experience. Sadly, the things that go bump in the night chose to go on vacation. It was all good though, as we completely enjoyed our stay. We got to hear the history stories and a nice lil tour of the different rooms, cottage, and grounds. I definitely recommend checking them out. If you enjoy laughing, definitely spark up a conversation with Scotty. His knowledge and ability to elaborate is astounding. He's definitely a funny guy. Cathy's cooking abilities are fantastic as well. A+++

Beautifully decorated with antiques and themed international items. Feels like a historical walk around the world. We stayed in the Safari room. Top class dining makes you feel like you're in a Michelin restaurant. Innkeepers are very hospitable, thoughtful and quite efficient. We'll return. Rich & Marie

What an experience! Daffodale House is a one-of-a-kind experience with uniquely furnished interiors, amazing cuisine and a very friendly owners. I slept like a log each night of my two night visit, had fascinating conversations with the owners, and truly felt like I was welcomed like a long-lost friend. I would absolutely stay there again, and would request the carriage house next time.
