My husband and I are so happy to have this place in Monticello. The cocktails are good, the food is great, and the service is good. We especially love the pork chops entree, and I haven’t had a bad meal there yet.

I’ve been here twice. Service was absolutely awful, food was mediocre for the price, and the bartender has no knowledge of making proper cocktails. I will not be coming back.

It’s a decent. A great local option. The menu is limited, but the pretzel is good and the service is pretty good. There is not much else to choose from in Monticello

So we stopped in, and the atmosphere was good, the service was ehhhh, ill get to that. The drinks, well I've never had a Makers Manhattan with fireball whiskey and a slice of orange. Hey first time for everything, right. We had a sushi roll that was definitely not fresh made, waitress BS'd on that. The food was average at best. Definitely won't return, nor recommend. Maybe it was just an off night for them, swamp gasses on mercury weren't in alignment or whatever. Hopefully they step it up. Place hass potential. The Hum'V out front was cool. Maybe someone else's experience will be better than ours.

Amazing people! The waitress was so friendly. Sammy the owner is awesome (I have an idea on a new burger). The sushi was awesome!
The chicken bacon tortellini was a 5 but the ribeye my wife got was full of gristle and rated a 1, so average of 3.

Been twice . Seating is awful . I’m not a big person and you aren’t able to get in and out of the seats without your table getting up to let you up . Basically back to back in chairs with people . Both times it took over an hr to get 4 burgers . Had to get up and ask for refills . And the food is bland. Nothing special esp for the prices . The bar tender was amazing so I did tip even though we didn’t have drinks . But the older lady needs a new job . She took the appetizer off our table when we weren’t done with it and had to get up to ask for refills . Also had to have the bartender check us out bc the waitress messed up the split check and when she went to fix it she never came back . She went to help other people check out . And interrupted the bartender while checking us out 😬. But it’s nice and clean . Charming . A new focused waitress would def make it a better place but we won’t be going back .

I had the bacon jam burger, Best burger I've ever had. Service was wonderful!
Food was very slow to come out, service wasn't very attentive, but the waitress was nice. Every single item lacked seasoning, even salt and pepper, which wasn't even on the table. Very disappointed with the entire meal, for 5 people at $240.
The bacon cheeseburger was excellent and the fries were cooked perfectly to a crisp.
This was a late lunch stop upon arriving in Monticello. I arrived a bit too early to check in at the Denham so needed to kill some time. I sat at the bar and was greeted quickly by my server who was charming. She recommended a beer on tap (I prefer Florida craft beer) and found a great local lager. I wound up with the smoked fish dip and the Jalapeno jam burger. Portions were large and very fresh. Both were quite good. I recommend this spot and hope to go back before leaving town.
I’m a local and I am currently laughing out loud at some of these other reviews, some folks just cannot be pleased and expect the world wrapped in a pretty bow from a quaint small-town restaurant.
I’ve been several times, sat outside each time as I just find it more preferable. Service has been good each time, waitresses are attentive and polite, my first visit my fries were made wrong but I was able to keep both the plain fries and the beer-battered bacon fries I ordered (delicious btw).
Burger and chicken is both delicious, from what I can tell the toppings are fresh and I enjoy a cold cut tomato on my sandwiches and both have been both times. It’s a little pricey but truthfully everything is nowadays and I don’t mind paying for a good experience. We’ll be back! I’ll try to remember to add photos of food.
