I recently visited Tupelo's Bakery at 220 W Washington St, in Monticello, FL. I was passing through and decided to stop. I went to the counter and was quickly greeted and my order taken. I choose a scone from the selection of baked goods available. I relaxed and drank my coffee with my scone watching the locals come and go. A very nice and friendly place to stop

I want to say Tupelo's Bakery and Cafe went Above and Beyond for me!! Their customer service was exemplary! 🥰 Thank you so much for the cookie surprise for my son and his wife! My son stated " These cookies remind me of my childhood!" Which is exactly what I was hoping for!! Thank you again Tupelo's for providing a wonderful Birthday surprise for my son!! ✨️❤️✨️

Excellent clean, cozy place, incredible offers, quality service, as well as their products, although the image I am going to show says closed, I was served by two beautiful women and I received incredible service, I recommend it and I will visit it again, thank you.

They had many gluten free options, more than other bakery’s I’ve been to, and the zucchini bread I tried was so good, not grainy or dry it was so sweet and fluffy, which is hard to find for gf items, I definitely will be back! 5 stars!

This place is one of those true hidden gems where only the locals know about it. I've eaten here a number of times and love everything. They've mastered the art of flavor combinations. I challenge you to try all of them. They obviously use high quality ingredients and fresh bread. Portions and prices coincide and are very fair. Don't forget there's parking around back. Pro-tip for the traveler: this is very worth the trip off I-10 if you're coming through the area. Come to downtown historic Monticello. If you're a larger vehicle like an RV there's a public parking lot just north of the place on Mulberry Street. I know we'll be back!

Update: had them do lunch for a large event recently. Flawless service and fantastic flavors! This place just keeps amazing me.

Parking: Don't stress trying to park street side in front. Pull around back and park in the back lot or the public parking lot diagonally from them. Campera can find a space in the public lot most days.
