TOO FREQUENTLY running out of desserts, whenever we goin there. Tired of constantly hearing, “Yeah… I’m sorry!”.
This last time, a customer with her granddaughter literally glared at US for taking the last strawberry and vanilla cupcakes, while saying, “Oh no - we came here JUST for a strawberry and vanilla cupcake!’.
Otherwise, love this place.

Got weird vibes today from the folks working behind the counter. No hello, no thank you, plus a fun frustrated reaction when my wife asked for a to go bag for a cookie. Apparently, my wife was taking too long to put the cookie into the "special to go container" and the woman behind the counter made a huge, annoyed sigh, put on a glove and proceeded to take it from my wife and place in the plastic container with a rather exasperated facial expression. My wife and I both thought the whole experience was quite odd. Perhaps somebody just had a bad case of the Mondays?

My visit to the bakery in Mt. Dora was Feb 21, 2025. I was in Florida for a wedding. Met family at Allyson A bake shop. It wasn't what I had in mind for breakfast but at least they offered Belgium waffles. Man, was I disappointed. I don't know when they were made or if they were pre-made and came out of a box. The waffles were cold, hard and no where near the size of a Belgium waffle. No, I didn't complain to the staff about my waffle. My daughters had the same issue as I did. Plus, the waffles were way over priced for the quality and size. Now the staff that day was excellent, they were all happy and treated all the customers with the upmost respect.

We stopped by twice while in town for our girls trip! Omg they had the best quality pastries and treats! You MUST get their New York Times chocolate chip cookies. Also the barista today made the best lavender ice matcha I have ever had! Can’t wait to come back again!!!
