We were wandering around Mt Dora to see what sparked interest and we decided to give this place a try. We’re big fans of falafels, gyros/donair etc. and there’s no great place locally so we had high hopes. The two gentlemen working there made us feel at home and had us laughing right off the bat. Very personable. We chose the sampler platter for the ladies to split and I had the gyro. The platter was excelled. Hummus, baba ganush(sp?), tabule and lamb/chicken skewers. The ladies were quite happy. All very tasty.I should mention before I go any further that I’m a bit picky when it comes to gyros. I’ve been served so many bad gyros that I’m at the point of almost expecting disappointment when I order them. The last one I was served was flat processed meat strips and just awful. But here, the gyro was perfect. Moist, well seasoned, good balance of contents in the pita. Also came with a bit of hummus and some spare pita.We sat outside and people watched and enjoyed a perfect Sunday lunch.I’d recommend this to anyone looking for this type of regional cuisine. And if you are not familiar with this type of food, I can’t think of a better place to give it a try. Be adventurous and do it.We’ll be back this week to try the shawarma, another of my personal favorites.Vegetarian options: Falafels, hummus, baba ganush, tabouli and more!

This place is absolutely LEGIT!! My wife and I loved it. We had the platter with a little bit of every trying and it was the best Lebanese food we have he in the states. Apparently the mother makes all the food. Thank you Mom! Your son is awesome.

While the food was fresh and good, the shared seating area is not very large and could use a deep cleaning especially the overhead fans.

Gyro was tasteless not fresh. I thought this place was terrible and will not be returning . The humus as a side was served to me in a small ketchup container….Strange. It was literally like serving a sample. I am Lebanese and this is an embarrassment. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and I got kabab style sandwich literally don’t know what they doing here. Heating the meats on an electric griddle! First time seeing that! I have been to plenty Lebanese restaurants and this place cutting corners. Expensive for what you get! Weak sandwiches and sides size of samples. I would give it a zero star for what I was served.

This is the best Lebanese food! I live in Orlando and although Mount Dora is a bit of a hike, I always look forward to having lunch at Beirut Bites. Not only is their food amazing, but it is made by an amazing family who makes you feel right at home.

We spotted this place walking around Mt. Dora. Located inside Building 1 of the Marketplace, this unassuming booth has really fresh, delicious food! On point for sure. We had the Beirut Platter to try a bit of everything and we were not disappointed. Everything was yummy! Super nice owner and chef. Food is made fresh everyday. We will be back.
