Had the most pleasant experience at China 8 has been a while since I ate there but today was my birthday and I gotten take out for my birthday. I ordered food told the gentleman that was working there and he told me happy birthday and also gave me a discount for my birthday. That was AWESOME. The food was GREAT !

First time getting food from here today and it was fantastic we got general tsaos chicken lo mein sweet and sour chicken and also spring rolls and an egg roll and crab ragoon hands down the best I’ve had in the area thank you guys so much ! Everything was delicious and fresh highly recommend!

lately my soda has not been included with my order. This is the fourth time in a row it has happened. I know it’s only about $1.65, but it’s part of my dinner at work, and that’s why it’s disappointing. I’d appreciate it if you could please make sure it’s included moving forward.

I recently visited China 8 in Mount Dora with my sister, and once again, they did not disappoint! The restaurant consistently offers a cozy atmosphere coupled with exceptional customer service that makes you feel genuinely taken care of.
We ordered the shrimp fried rice and special fried rice, which were both cooked to perfection. The honey chicken and fried chicken with honey sauce were delightful treats—sweet, crispy, and just the right amount of goodness. We couldn't resist their egg rolls and spring rolls either, which were the perfect starters to our meal.
Although I found a small rock in my rice, it didn't detract from the overall positive experience. Mistakes happen, and it's nothing that would keep me away.
If you're in the area and craving delicious Chinese cuisine with a side of warm hospitality, China 8 is the place to go. We'll definitely be back for more!

Every time I eat from here, I like it even more. This time I chose to dine-in, instead of take-out, as I usually do, because my mother was with me, and was too hungry to wait until we got home. Peter, the owner, treated us like family and royalty at the same time.
The food was so fresh and delicious, as it always is, but even better because we started eating it immediately after it was served. They make the best shrimp with mixed vegetables and peppers steak, plus their shrimp and cabbage egg rolls are the best in town.
When Peter saw how tired my mother looked, after her medical appointment, he was so kind to serve us some of their delicious egg white cloud soup (egg drop soup), which was a perfectly delicious and light way to break our fast, since we hadn't eaten anything all day and it was almost 3pm. He also served us a sample of his aromatic edible flower tea, which was also very generous and kind of him.
I think I will start dining in, instead of taking it to go, from now on. The place is very clean and the atmosphere/ decoration is very inviting, in spite of the small space, with only a few tables.
I'll start coming here more often than ever before, after this experience. Thanks again and best wishes.
