We have been here for Lunch and Dinner and every time its always a great time, we are proud Cubans and certify that this is as authentic as you can get for Cuban food in Mt. Dora, as well as Las Palmas in the corner. Keep in mind is $20-30 because we like to order apps and main and drinks, its a full blown meal and left overs for Lunch next day so its super worth it. No I dont like to take pics of the food but trust the presentation is also there. Thank you guys for keeping it as OG as possible P.S. the only thing I would change is the chimichurri other than that keep up the great work!! 🇨🇺

Oh my GOODNESS! We loved this place. We just stumbled upon it and the food is amazing. Authentic and fresh. The service was top notch. Noisy in a happy neighborhood Cuban way. If we lived near it would be a wonderful regular place for us.

Today did not disappoint! I have been coming here for 10 years and food is delicious! I had a chicken with grilled onions dish that I love . Rice and black beans Maduros were good. Service was great. Smiling. My mojito was really good!

This is our favorite Cuban restaurant in the area. We had incredible wait staff and the flavors of the food are so rich that it makes the average Cuban joint feel a little bland. My wife loves the ropa Vieja and I like the turkey sandwich with the strawberry jam.
We love the environment and it’s pretty cool that the entrance and outdoor seating is a little tucked away rather than right on the street.
The food was amazing! Loved everything we tried... we had the appetizer sampler, which was very reasonably priced and delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating... we sat inside and the atmosphere was great. The server was attentive, friendly and professional. Looking forward to eating here again!

Dont recommend this place to anyone. Our last time here after giving this place a couple chances. The food is greasy tostones seemed like they fried them in old grease then sat them under a lamp. Place smells moldy like it overdue for a remodel and both bars looks dirty. We were first going to sit outside and there was a rancid smell coming from the outside bar so we moved inside but that wasnt much better. The service is also awful, nobody seems to care. Our server was a short girl with glasses and tattoa. she was extremely slow and rude. She seemed to be irritated and even saw her roll her eyes at one point. That ruined our experience. We wont return , the awful service was the cherry on top. We highly recommend las palmas over this place.

This is my favorite place to eat Latin food in downtown Mount Dora specifically Cuban food. I know the owners for many years now and they are such a staple in the downtown Mount Dora area. I love them and the atmosphere is great. Always excited to know that there will be wonderful music and our live music. The karaoke nights are also a lot of fun. You need to check this place out.
