Loved the meatless quesadilla amazing! Meatless empanadas were amazing! Salad was super fresh and dressing was incredible! The banana milkshake was so good my dad brought it up like 3 times.

Highly recommend!! We enjoyed our time there. The food is AMAZING with fresh ingredients, flavorful and so many options. Reasonably priced for location and highly quality. The yucca bits are like clouds in your mouth. We loved the lentil burger and the nachos. Make sure you get their craft soda to wash down all the goodness. They even have sweet treats that are vegan and gluten free. The service was the best ! Friendly staff. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU Dark and Light Cafe.

Omg this place is AMAZING!! Had a mocha with real shaved white chocolate not syrup. Had the best chocolate shake ever and my husbands mango smoothie was THE BOMB!! Will be back over and over to this wonderful place. Great owners too. Thank you 😊

If you haven’t tried their food, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! I am not vegan but I go here at least once a week to let my mouth and body enjoy their food. It’s made with the best quality ingredients, it tastes like if someone made it with so much love and it is always fresh. I have a special place in my heart for the Yuca (cassava) Balls, they come with this little sauce on the side that is to die for. My husband recently tried their Beyond Burger and I feel like next week I might have to order that with a salad on the side because their salads are also delicious. If you are not too hungry for a full meal at least give their spinach empanadas and smoothies a try, they always make me have a happy dance.
On top of all, the owners are the best people! So kind and sweet, always trying to please you and always serving with a smile. Couldn’t ask for more in our little Mount Dora.

My husband and I were in from out of town as we're thinking of moving to Mount Dora from Southwest FL. I am organic plant based and my husband is fairly healthy as well. This town is not known for healthier food we've come to realize. This cafe was one of the first stops on our trip. We had a fantastic lunch, my husband had the bean and rice burrito and I had a great vegetable wrap. The portions were enormous, unlike most vegan cafes. We loved it so much we went again for lunch the next day. Highly recommend and we can't wait to eat there again when we're back in June. Such friendly owners and staff too.
I am so glad I found this place! Vegan food is scarce in this area, so this is a treat. Everything that I have tried I have liked, the black bean burrito is my favorite, so much flavor!
