I’ve recently discovered Dark and Light in Mt Dora, FL. So many vegan options and I especially enjoy the vegan Alfajor dessert because it melts in your mouth and is not very sweet. I’ve also tried the vegan spinach and empanadas. Everything is homemade and very satisfying. Highly recommend!!

This place had the most phenomenal food that we’ve had in a long time. The eggplant sandwich was actually the best sandwich we’ve ever had. The ginger walnut salad had the best homemade dressing. The coffee was also 10/10. The man working behind the counter gave great recommendations and options for us, also so welcoming with a big smile. This place was in the middle of a building with markets with such cute shopping around in the AC. Cannot recommend this place more!!

A++++. Owners are incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They are very kind people. Food is delicious. I have found it very difficult to find vegan food where I am currently staying. Drove 45 minutes here and I was very happy.
I went with my two coworkers both who are meat eaters, and they absolutely loved the food. We will be coming back!!

Really good food and beverages. We were lucky to find this place and ended up coming back each day of our vacation. They make smoothies and lattes with no sugar added if desired. All of their ingredients are wholesome. The food is delicious. Be aware that there is very limited indoor seating and it is shared with several other food vendors.

There's definitely a reason why this place is five stars! The food is delicious and the prices are phenomenal. The owner is absolutely delightful and told me that he wants to keep prices affordables that everyone has the opportunity to taste real vegan food. I was only in town for a couple of days but both days I went there and tried as many things as I could. I got a decaf mocha that is made from scratch! That's hard to find! The empanadas are delicious. I also had a jackfruit quesadilla that was amazing. The smoothies are great. In the location is also fabulous! Right in town and in a building with other stores. It's definitely a great experience! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you for creating the space for us plant-based folks and also others who are curious 💞

My favorite place in downtown to grab a coffee and a little bite to eat! Delicious strong coffee & everything I’ve had to eat here is so yummy! The owners are wonderful people, too. May God bless them, their business, and all their customers 🙏 I only wish they were open earlier in the day so I could get my coffee from them every time 🙂

Loved the meatless quesadilla amazing! Meatless empanadas were amazing! Salad was super fresh and dressing was incredible! The banana milkshake was so good my dad brought it up like 3 times.
