Been here twice, atmosphere is cool and fun to be honest. First time I went with my wife we had a few drinks and great chats. But I paid for each drink as I got them cause I didn't know how long I was gonna be there originally. Since we had a good time, we went back a second time. I figured we'd hang out a little longer, so I opened a tab when they offered it. We only ended up getting 1 drink each, 2 margaritas, $10ea, we got to laughing and wanted to walk to another spot in mount dora so we left and i told him go ahead and close my tab thank you! I check my account the next day $45 charge from them. I was not drunk so I clearly remember the night, it started at this bar. They charged me 45 for 2 $10 drinks. Ruined everything good i thought about this place. Nothing is as off putting in a business as when someone smiles in your face makes you think you're getting a great service and you realize they're ripping you off.
I have no doubt that since I've only been there twice and this happened, the one time I opened a tab, they have done this to multiple customers in the past. It wasn't even hard to get our tab correct. There weren't very many people in the bar when we went as it was only about 730-8pm. I'd never go back, that's just a scummy move. Taking advantage of tabs from local patrons. CHECK YOUR BANK AFTER GOING. Would not recommend. The Mexican place around the corner has AMAZING drinks. Down town is a ton of fun with tons of choices, you don't need to waste your money on places like this.

The vibe at Handlebar is always top tier and is hands down one of the best bars in Central Florida to visit and grab a cocktail. Specifically the Old Fashioneds and Moscow Mules. The bartenders do a fantastic job of creating a great atmosphere.

Jake was the absolute best person ever. He attains not only the energy, but also, he is the most attentive bartender I have ever encountered. This guy loves what he does and loves getting to know people. He really knows how to put a smile on everybody’s face. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

This is my second time here, and the vibes are still great. The Saturn and the seasonal Dubai Chocolate are very different but equally amazing. These are the standouts for me, but the vibes are great no matter what you grab.

Up the stairs to a place GPS doesn't even know about, perfect parisian balcony over the street, great drinks custom made from two bartenders. A warm room, a hideaway moment. TheFEEL just played a set that night. David Oliver Willis carried the magic of the night further in a trio with a fantastic show. HAVE YOU SEEN DAVID WILLIS? GREAT PLACE GREST MOMENTS.
