We did not have a great experience at this restaurant. The table was cramped and the food is okay. We were seated at a table/booth in the back, directly under this antique hanging cabinet. Two members in our party hit their back or shoulder on this piece getting in and out of the booth, and the server said, "oh, everyone hits this." If customers are hurting themselves on a piece of furniture in your restaurant, it would make sense to remove this obstacle, move the table, or just not seat people underneath.

Great secret breakfast place in Mt Dora. My dad used to work here when he was in high school. Food is still good as when he worked here.

Charming cafe for breakfast! Enjoyed the daily special--Pot Roast Omelet. It was filled with chunks of pot roast with swiss cheese. Hash browns and raisin toast completed this delicious meal.

For breakfast it was a bad experience. Horrible service. When we don’t get checked on for over 40min after we ordered and I have to get up and ask for coffee refills and then to wait for another 20min for the food. Had to get creamer from a different table. When the food came never saw our server again until she dropped the bill. Soo no water refills either. The food itself was good but if someone walks out mid shift. Let your tables know it’s going to be a while or offer something for the wait. Only reason it’s 2 star is literally the food was good.

please whatever you do. don’t go here. i watched the chef make my food and he didn’t have gloves on at all. he made at least 3-4 other plates and never once had gloves on. i saw him put multiple biscuits in the microwave and touched them with his bare hands. after saying that i wasn’t going to eat my food because of that they never offered to remake my food with him putting gloves on.

Great little breakfast and/or lunch place. Service was quick. The Nell burger was giant, but they were out of jalapenos, so, I don't think I got the full effect. The taste was good, nice juicy burger. The spinach and feta omelet looked great, didn't get a taste though. Large portions, most prices around $10-15. This is not a fancy place, but the food was good!

We were hoping to find a nice local breakfast joint, but unfortunately this one is in need of a little love and attention inside the dining area. The decor is nothing but dog photos and things are quite a bit dingy. Sealings you really don't want to look up and their tables right up against the bathroom door for the men's room where they sat us. So everybody going in you could hear I'm going to the bathroom which is just really unappetizing. The French toast was two slices of Texas bread as they described with a layer of fruit cream cheese and and topping and then the whole thing is dipped in pancake batter and then deep fried. He was interesting but tasted like a donut. I had the footlong hot dog which was which was good, I would order it again if I were hungry enough.
