I love breakfast ... this place has a wonderful selection of dishes for breakfast! The apple pancakes are delicious. We also tried the biscuits and gravy... biscuits were light and fluffy... gravy was thick and creamy ... together they were amazing! Country fried steak was fantastic! Only been here for breakfast so far but prices are very reasonable, food has been amazing, and staff are awesome! Very attentive, professional and friendly. I see this becoming a regular place for us.

Don't go there at 1:30 pm unless you want to be made to feel like you aren't welcome and to smell Lysol cleaner while eating! Sposed to be open til 2 pm.

Small old timer feel. Like visiting your grandmothers home when you were young. Very affordable. The english muffins came pre-buttered. Eggs are real and delicious, the sausage links were salty and delectable. I would return. There was no wait and the parking lot was full.

I've been going for years and recently things have changed. The grits, the best in town due to their smooth silky texture, just became watery grits. Today 18 Aug at 9:30 it was 85deg in there. Same staff doing a great job but it seems like they are cutting corners. There's a lot of choices for breakfast spots. If people quit coming they won't be back.

Well after trying to go to Mary's or Sunrise this was our last option. The waitress took our order and that was the end of her coming to our table. The coffee was soo hot you could not drink it from the mug without burning your lip. They only have a dozen tables so you know it's on purpose.

Food is good but average... and they take forever to bring it too you. The table next to us moved after the first half hour of waiting it was so hot inside. In reality they need a cook, more seats and ac that works.

Don't waste your time here. You can get cheaper and better food elsewhere. This is a complete disappointment.

We are big supporters of local stores cafes’s and bars . This one is not a favorite, since moving to Mount Dora two years ago we have eaten here 3 times , we won’t go again . The food is OK at best , the whole place seems like it could do with a good clean , dead flies on window ledges , we think the butter tasted like margarine …… nothing was good ….. sorry if there was ever a place that needed makeover and refresh this is it . However , it’s a really busy place so I guess lots of folks love it this way , it’s not for us!!

What a cute place for a quick breakfast! My husband and I came in after having a busy morning and while the place was busy, the staff immediately acknowledged us and let us know they'd seat us soon. As we waited, we had the opportunity to take in all the adorable dog themed photos and decor. I loved it, being a dog mom myself. I felt right at home lol we got seated and got our drinks quickly. Our host was fast paced and to the point. We actually appreciated the efficiency and the lack of formalities. After all, the place was busy. Then our food came and OH MY GOODNESS when I tell you to get their specialties, you need to Get.Their.Specialties ! The strawberry French toast is literally cake 🍰 !!! I felt like I was very special having that plate in front of me. It was delicious. Crispy on the outside, very soft on the inside. You won't be disappointed in taste nor portion size.

The only thing u would say I wish was slightly better would be the coffee, it was a tad watered down to us- but in all honestly that might just be us being used to strong espresso, so I am keeping this as 5stars all around.

Now that we know this place exists, I definitely see this place as a routine stop for us from now on.

Cozy small restaurant with good breakfast, diner style. We had a fresh, generous omelette with hash browns, but no bread because they don't have gluten free items here. They gave us 3 slices of tomatoes instead. The presentation of the plates is simple, no frills. Service was fast and polite. The prices are just about the same as other breakfast restaurants.
