Visited today for lunch and felt "meh" when we left. My boyfriend loves seafood, I do not, so he got a Connecticut lobster roll and I got a chili cheese dog. He also got a cup of clam chowder. Now, he said the flavor of everything was delicious, which is the reason for the 4 stars on food. He said everything tasted great! But for paying over $20, he said he was really anticipating to have more lobster than what he got, even understanding the cost and that lobster isn't something cheap. I took a picture of his plate as soon as it arrived at our table for the fact that the lobster roll seemed very, very small, and that's coming from someone who doesn't even eat seafood, it just didn't seem right for the price. The second reason I took a picture is because of how it was served. Paper plates. If you want to use disposable, that's totally fine! But I would recommend either the red and white checkered paper baskets, and ever the red plastic baskets with the piece of wax paper in it. Either option would far surpass the Sam's club paper plates. For over $20, it should be something more appealing. I didn't even take a picture of my chili cheese dog, but it tasted fine and was only $7 and cake with chips. Works for me. The waitress asked if I wanted a grilled bun or regular and I said grilled. At no point did she tell me it was a $1 upcharge, we found out when we got our bill. Yes, I would have still chosen it, but it would have been nice to know. It isn't listed on the menu either, unless you just assume based off the very bottom got dog item in the menu, but to me, that's a large assumption. Overall, we won't be back.

Overall, I didn’t have a bad experience. There are several items the owners should consider working on to make this a stellar experience. First of all, you’re selling lobster so serving your food and drinks on plastic/paper plates with plastic cutlery is not a great start at all, especially for the price you’re paying. Secondly, the decor and feel of the place wasn’t well designed and it doesn’t really match the food concept. It feels like they either didn’t have the money to do it how they wanted, or they didn’t care so much about it. I think having cushions in the benches would be a great addition, and taking the bench that is by the window out so that the bar can be all the way against the window. Plus, the walls that exist make it seem like this restaurant was put into something that previously existed. Be intentional about everything you do and it will translate to everything. Lastly, the food was average. If it’s lobster, it better be awesome especially when you’re charging $20+ for a small lobster roll. Everything should be fresh and tasty.

Always consider how your guest is experiencing not only your food, but the experience of being there. It all matters and will set you apart.

Super friendly staff and a good menu with good food. I would recommend stopping for a bite to eat if you are in town. Lots of open seats and wasn't too busy when we went.

We were enjoying the Blueberry Festival in Mt Dora today and stopped to enjoy a bite and are soo glad we did. Their food was delicious. I had their Classic Lobster Roll with slaw and fresh vegetables and a side bowl of their Lobster Bisque and the wife had their grilled Bacon, tomatoe and cheese sandwich. We sat out front and enjoyed our lunch at one of their little tables because we had our Pup (Venus) with us . The food was amazing and the staff incredible, their servers even brought us water for our pup and the Owner came out to greet us and inquire on the food and our experiance which we told him we had a great experiance and the food was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try their Buttered Lobster Roll and their ClamWin Chowder which many said was delicious aswell...Ty guys for a great lunch...

Let's be honest, lobster rolls are not cheap anywhere, but yet $22+ with taxes for a literally folded toast with cold lobster (mayyyybeee), thst doesn not worth the money. Inside the folded toast 3 or 4 small "lobster" pieces.People inside are super nice and the place is super clean but come on, it took like 20 mins to get a "roll" a sandwich and couple of small chips bags.Do yourself a favor unless you want to throw your money away.

Food (CT Lobster Roll) quality was fine but price was a little high for quantity. I will be back but will try something else on the menu. This was my second time here. First time was the cold lobster role.

Small shop with fresh New England lobster. The rolls are always toasted crispy. Great chowder, chili dog, and a stout Reuben. Friendly staff and extremely attentive owner. Fabulous to my grandmother

The classic lobster roll with potato salad was amazing. Worth it! We took our food to go because the restaurant was kinda small and too crowded but the food was definitely high quality.

The food is good and we've eaten there several times. The owner can be a little rude and loud if you do not eat the roll as he tells you he orders them from Maine. Which is a little out of line on his behalf. I went back again yesterday and he made the same comment. I will not be back.
